JB Dawson's Restaurant & Bar

We are here all the time. You'll know, because the waitstaff knows my son always orders the barbecue chicken. It's a favorite place of ours. I've had almost every item on both the main and the special menus. The food is very good. The staff is friendly. In all the years we've come, there was only 1 mistake. Way to go everybody!

Our server was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious as always and served hot. Always a great place to meet friends.

I've been going to JB ever since 2013 and it's always been a pleasure no matter the occasion! The food is always delicious & consistent... the service is always pleasant and friendly. JB is truly one of my top 10 restaurants to visit and I've been to Michelin star restaurants and out of the country to upscale restaurants. My family loves JB. It broke our hearts when the Plymouth Meeting, PA location closed down. We truly miss the all you can eat ribs.

Kelly was fantastic. She is one of many who recognize my family. The food was perfectly done, tasting so good. We were seen and spoke with quite a few people, including management. This is our favorite place. The crew makes you feel like "old friends"

Very friendly servers and staff. Good food, reasonable prices and a nice variety of menu selections.

No complaints at all. Routine lunch that never disappoints. Fish & Chips x's 2. Perfect portion and cooked properly. Just wish the coleslaw came in a bigger dish, it is really tasty!

Tonight's trip was for our anniversary. We had our first date here nearly 20 years ago. The food has always been good. The prices have definitely gone up but I will likely get 3 meals out of my one entree. The service is always great and today our waitress was Jackie who was exceptionally sweet. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I go to JB Dawson's several times a year, and they never disappoint. We both ordered steaks (filet oscar and prime rib), and they were both cooked precisely as we wanted. (I ordered rare; my wife, medium well. ) One pleasant surprise was the price. With the prices skyrocketing everywhere else, we expected the steaks to cost close to $50, but they were each less than $40. One final note... they get busy, and although they do a great job getting people in and out, I recommend reservations.

This is a very popular spot and was a decent wait at 630pm on a Saturday, and honestly, I can't see why.
The atmosphere, drink (kinda), service, are all great, and everyone was very kind. Reminds me of a mountain lodge.
Service was incredibly fastand rhe servers were very kind and accommodating.

However, the food was just not good. I had their special lobster bisque which was decent, however, i also had the rib combo with grilled chicken, meaty beans, and mashed potatos. Wife had the twisted burger and potato soup. The ribs were over done and tough to chew. Just didnt seem fresh and had little taste, the chicken was very dry, potatos were ok, and the beans were confusing, they were like, almost chili but too liquidy, and less flavor.
I said kinda on the drink because i got the Smoke em margarita and for $13, i expect the drink to be filled, the glass was 80% full, like someone took 2 big gulps out of it. Otherwise,it was good. My wife's espresso martini started off good but became gross at the end when the sediment at the bottom started getting sipped up.
My opinion, it's a dressed and shined up Applebees.

Went for dinner with work colleagues and the food was great! The service was attentive and precise. The restaurant gets a little loud but overall a great place to dine. I would recommend and will come again.
