the deli counter was not very good. Had to wait 20 minutes to acknowledge that we were there. although the lox and chopped liver were delicious it was not worth the wait in a place that was empty.
Wide selection and large portions
Good food and service I recommend

Moish and Itzy's Restaurant & Delicatessen is a popular spot for breakfast and lunch, known for its large, comfortable, and attractive space. The portions are generous, and the food is often praised as delicious, especially the corned beef and matzo ball soup, which many customers consider absolutely delicious. The potato latke is a must-try, along with dishes like avocado toast with an over easy egg and corned beef hash.
The restaurant maintains a cozy and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a great choice for diners. Customers have appreciated the quality and freshness of the food, with the chef salad and vegetable soup being particularly well-received. The restaurant is also known for its ability to accommodate special requests, such as adding broccoli to a salad or providing dressings on the side.
However, some recent reviews mention inconsistency in food quality. While certain dishes, like the carrot cake, are highly praised, others have been seen as subpar or poorly prepared. One customer noted disappointment with the cold pastrami on rye, describing it as similar to supermarket deli meat. There have also been mentions of food sometimes looking like it was thrown together and can be dry. Service can be slow during busy times, but the staff handles issues professionally. Despite these occasional hiccups, Moish and Itzy's remains a favorite among many customers who enjoy the tasty and satisfying meals it offers, including the delightful matzo ball soup and Lindzer tarts. The integrity of the owner has also been highlighted, as they have gone above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
