First of all, I will say that the matzo ball soup is absolutely delicious. The pastrami sandwich on rye was terrible. I’ve never had cold pastrami served in a Jewish deli in my life until I got it here at this deli. It truly was like the pastrami that you buy at the deli in the supermarket. And I certainly didn’t need to go to a Jewish deli to get that. My daughter had one of their turkey meals and it was good. But I really went for the pastrami and I was very disappointed.

A couple weeks ago I ordered food from them and got a piece of plastic in their scrapple. Called and asked for a refund and to have the owner call me back which they said they would. No refund and no call. Here’s your review.
Food was subpar. Looked like it was thrown together. No thought to ingredients.
Food was dry, bag of chips thrown on plate also
Will not go back, bad food for the price

Upsold us bagels from the grocery store down the road. Full story below:
My wife had ordered a dozen bagels from here ahead of time, first thing in the morning. When she went to pick them later in the day, they said that they did not have the order ready yet and to come back. When we did come back, they again said that they would need time to work on the order and told us have a seat.
While we were waiting, one of their employees conspicuously went out the back door and came back after about 20 minutes. They then brought us a bag with a dozen bagels, claiming our order fulfilled.
When we went to look at the bagels, they looked very similar to the bagels from the Giant in the same shopping center. To verify, I went to Giant and compared the ones that we got with the grocery store bagels, and they were identical.
When confronted about this, the employee initially tried to deny it saying that they source their bagels from a local place. When provided with a photo showing the identical bagels from the grocery store, he backtracked and said that sometimes they source their bagels from Giant, and presented this to me as doing me a favor. This was despite charging me their usual price, which was far more than what Giant was selling bagels for. Most upsettingly, this was extremely deceptive and dishonest and would not have been admitted without my investigating. To make things right, I told them that I wanted the bagels that we should have gotten when we called ahead of time, as well as a refund. They ultimately complied with this, but were extremely rude and then told me to never come back. I would not recommend this place to anyone: this could have all been avoided if they had either fulfilled the order in the first place or had been honest instead of trying to charge me three times the price for grocery store bagels.
We are going there for a long time always enjoying good price good food good service

We came for a quick bite on a Sunday night. Our daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs and I had the Carnegie fish sandwich. Both our meals were fantastic. The meatballs were really good and the Pastrami smoked nova on sandwich was unbelievable. The pickles were delicious. Service was good.

Has been our go to Jewish deli for many years..... until now.... it's got all of the telltale signs of going out of business....closed every day from 3:00-4:30....for what?....so the staff can rest, they say ... yesterday we had 2 chicken salad sandwiches, 2 cups of chicken noodle, 2 iced tea....$52.... before tip ...what???....my wife's sandwich was inedible....one giant slice of chicken covered at least half of sandwich....was stiff ...I asked them to take it off bill... instead gave us a piece of cake....I hunted down manager....young man....told him our issue and he adjusted the bill ... everything seems to be going down hill.....now they make you ASK for pickles....in a Jewish deli???....I hope it rebounds, but is unlikely...
