Sandy's Beef & Ale

Went to Sandy’s Beef and Ale tonight and loved it. My husband had a Jameson and ginger, I had two double vodka tonics — drinks were great. We shared the tots with American cheese sauce (so good).

The service was awesome, super friendly and attentive. We were watching them carve the beef behind the bar and it looked so good we ordered sandwiches to go. Best decision — the beef was insanely tender and delicious.

Great vibes, great food, great service. We’ll definitely be back.

I’m a lifelong customer. This business recently changed hands. The new ownership is doing a good job so far. I’d say the fried food got better but their roast beef sandwiches have definitely taken a step down. I never had a bad sandwich since the new owner took over. But I also never had a great one either. The bread certainly tastes different and not as good as before. Either they changed suppliers or they’re sneaking bread from the previous day into the following day to save money. The meat is inconsistent also. Some sandwiches were as big as the previous owners, and some are very light on meat. Prices are high with this economy. For what you’re paying, the consistency certainly can be better. The fried food is carrying the place and the reason for the 5 star review. They have good fried food.

My pulled pork sandwich had very little flavor. I used horseradish and ketchup to give it a bit of flavor

Food was just ok. Seems like a good neighborhood spot, we were just in the area for fall activities, so we won't go out of our way to stop back in. Our waitress was extremely nice, under the circumstances, they seemed short staffed and it was a bit crowded.

We had an on-site event in Morrisville PA on 10/9/2025 and had their Food Truck come out to feed the employees. They showed up and set up quickly, the food was made to order and did not take long. The 100+ employees all enjoyed the food options. The Roast Beef was awesome. The team that served us were very professional and personable. Will definitely keep them in mind for future events. Highly recommend their Food Truck.

Ok. So it's a bar like atmosphere but their food is crazy good. Freshest beef, ham, pork. They slice it at the counter. Soo good. Gravy fries and wings.
