The Happy Mixer Gluten Free Bakery

Tried The Happy Mixer today for the first time. We will definitely be back. Everything we had was delicious. Especially the lemon poundcake, that was a favorite.

My Husband (as of today at 11:30 AM) ordered our wedding cake from Happy Mixer and they nailed it with the design, which was exactly like the drawing I provided. We took photos at the bakery yesterday, however we want the guests to be surprised at the lunch today. We've had the cake before, so we know what to expect.

I needed gf birthday treats at the last minute and this place did not dissapoint! They had several gf and gorgeous cakes in the case along with a great selection of everything else you'd want in a bakery. The shop was cute and the staff members had a book to reference ingredients for everything right there so I could verify for allergens. This place is amazing! Will be visiting again!

Visited here a few weeks ago and loved it! The gluten free treats are delicious!! I came all the way from New Jersey for it! Dedicated gluten free and Celiac/gluten allergy safe!

I used to live close by, I’m now in NJ and I will make the hour drive to this bakery. I have yet to find any place quite like it or as good!

I wanted to leave a review to both rave about your fantastic baked goods and to thank you. My Mom suffered with gluten intolerance and then celiacs. This took away her ability to enjoy some of her favorite foods. We tried to find substitutes at the local grocery stores but nothing really took the place of her favorite baked goods. Finding you was a miracle! She loved your cookies, bread and Pumpkin Pie!! She looked forward to me bringing home her favorites and surprises like your pretzels and cinnamon buns each week. She just passed away a couple weeks ago but the memories of her enjoying your delicious treats will give me a smile every time I think about those times. Thank you for what you do to bring delicious baked goods to those with gluten intolerance.

Last week when traveling in PA I discovered The Happy Mixer. I made my family go out of the way just a little bit less than an hour before the store closed. They were still fully stocked with yummy looking treats. We each got a treat "for now", plus I bought a few kiffles (yum), a cinnamon raisin bread, and a lemon pound cake. Everything is amazing. However, the star of my Happy Mixer show is the lemon pound cake. We bought our items on Wednesday, and it is now Monday five days later. I kept the cake in its firm plastic container and carried it home with me in my carry-on luggage along with the bread (lugged it all around NYC), and did not cut into it until this morning. I was worried because the lady in the shop said it should be good for "a couple of days."

This cake is still perfect, and is probably the best cake I've had in years. Not too sweet, just the right amount of lemon, icing over the top, and a definite pound cake consistency and flavor. This cake is also dairy free. I am amazed. I will 100% stop by every time I'm in Philly from now on, and I may have to bring an extra suitcase just for lemon pound cakes. I have a gluten-free bakery here in my town in CO, but The Happy Mixer takes the cake. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the beautiful lemon cake. We visited the Newtown, PA, location

Having twin nieces who have dairy, soy and nut allergies between them, birthdays can be tricky. The Happy Mixer is very allergy friendly and made us two beautiful delicious cakes that both girls could enjoy together and they loved them. We highly recommend them for anyone with food allergies/sensitivities.

My husband has gotten me a birthday cake from here for the last four years and they are always delicious and beautiful but they REALLY outdid themselves this year. My husband had an idea for a cake design that tied-in to my movie theater themed birthday party and it turned out incredible!! He told me it was even their idea to do the popcorn logo! It’s so amazing and I’m so grateful to this bakery. Thank you guys so much!😭

So lucky to have this bakery close to home! We recently hosted a welcome dessert bar for our son's wedding in CT. There was no gluten free bakery anywhere close to him so we picked up a variety of kiffles to bring up with us. You could tell they were freshly made when we picked them up. Our gluten free guests were delighted to have an option for them. They are delicious and look so pretty with the various fruit fillings. Don't have to be gluten free to enjoy every bite!

I wanted to apologize... I ordered a custom made chocolate and peanut butter filling cake. When I went to pick it up I said it was boring and didn't like it. But only saw the top part. Got home and opened it, it was beautiful! And the best of all it was so delicious!!! My boyfriend love it he is gluten free! Thank you so much for a very delicious beautiful cake ❣️❣️

For a while I mourned the loss of being able to eat my favorite treats due to gluten intolerance, until I found this place! I was skeptical at first because I’ve tried a million different GF versions of foods, that definitely tased GF. But this exceeded my expectations! Delicious, safe, reasonably priced options. The iced brownie and bagels are a must. I’ll be recommending them to my friends and family, GF or not. And the customer service is awesome, always a pleasure to stop by!

I have a million allergies and Happy Mixer is so accommodating!!! I ordered a vegan and gluten free chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream for my birthday party and it looked and tasted amazing! Big hit with all of my guests. My boyfriend was amazed with how moist the cake is and my best friend said it was the best vegan buttercream she's ever had. Just ate a piece of leftover cake and I couldn't be happier!

It is a good and bad thing that I live less than 20 mins from this place. Because it is excellent! I get to have bagels and donuts in my gluten free life! They have beautiful little cakes and cool seasonal items. They have Vegan options. I do wish more of the gluten free items were also dairy free personally. The customer service is so nice and the prices are really reasonable. I usually stock up a little and spend $20-25 at a time. If you are gluten free (or even if you aren't) go check it out.
