Although the phone lines were down, they were very fast at answering their messenger and put our order in for us. Amazing wings, tasty sauce and great pricing. The Lawton Diner is now my go to place for breaded shrimp. Meaty, crispy and the cocktail sauce was delicious. 10/10. Takeout and dining in, you have to try it!

They had a sub-in server who isn't very experienced in serving HOWEVER she was so polite, on top of everything I never would have expected she'd never served before; as well as the chef makes the most perfect sweet potato fries I've ever had in such a long time. All of the staff has been lovely and attentive; I definitely recommend coming here for a bite to eat!

What a disappointment! The service was horrible while they catered to some guy named Wayne who sat at the bar top eyeballing everyone. I wasn't sure if the cook couldn't be bothered to cut the toast and just tore it in half or saved some scraps from someone's leftovers. The brown and serve sausage patties were a suprise for a local diner especially since I could have saved some time and money if I microwaved it myself. Its a shame because this place used to be good. Going downhill fast with no signs of slowing down.

It’s hit or miss on some of the food. I love their crispy hash browns and most of the time they are crispy, but the last time I went in they were kinda mushy and were really oily. Other than that I haven’t had any trouble and would definitely recommend. I love to eat here.

Wrong order, poorly prepared, old oil in the fryer, ruined the scrapple, eggs way over cooked, huge pile of home fries couldn't eat. Been going there on and off for 30 years. Worst meal I've ever had there. Sorry, won't be going back to soon.
Breakfast is the easiest meal to prepare. Well they did absolutely terrible job at it!. Bacon was burnt,homefires tasted disgusting ,wrong food on wrong plate and there was only 2 of us. Small town diner should def try harder. Good way to lose patrons. My opinion don't waste your time amd eat somewhere else.

Every time we come to enjoy a meal, the service, food and prices are all excellent! We highly recommend to anyone that wants a great family diner. As for any past negative reviews, sounds like some grace and understanding would need to be offered. We hope Leah is feeling better and will be back on her feet offering her great service!

Went there with my husband, dad and my kids. Service is okay but no one was friendly, no one asked if we wanted refills. I got the breaded shrimp and they were not deveined at all so being a pregnant woman haven’t gone back because I don’t know what else isn’t clean if the shrimp aren’t.
I will say the subs are a really good size, lots of meat and at a great price.
