We went on a Friday during lent because we'd heard the fish was delicious. We were not disappointed. $19 for a piece of fish that was bigger than the plate, and it was not just breading with a tiny sliver of fish inside, plus a salad, plus bread & butter, plus your choice of potato. I couldn't eat it all! It was all served hot and freshly cooked with homemade ranch dressing and homemade tartar sauce.

Food & service was quick with large portion sizes. However I was told the potatoes would be grilled not deep fried and I asked for well well done. They apperrd ti be deep fried and slightly grilled. The biscuits were hard and crunchy except where they were buttered. The gravey tasted like hotel gravey from a can. The 3 stars goes to the nice server and the good pancakes & eggs.

Service was extremely slow. It took approximately 30-40 minutes to get our food. My husband’s broiled fish was served cold and half the size of my fried fish. The waitress made good by bringing him another hot piece of fish. My fried fish was overcooked and very greasy, not flaky. Waitress was nice, but seemed overly busy, somewhat forgetful with drinks, and slow. Last time we will be dining here.
