I had a classic BLT, which was exactly what I wanted. My pup and I sat outside and they brought her a little treat which was so sweet.
The outdoor seating was very nice. Everyone was friendly. Felt like a nice local hang spot where campers and visitors are welcome too.

I had a bad experience after paying my bills. 20 minutes after I gave my debit card to pay my bill, I received 8 more notifications from my bank that my card was used for online payment at Walmart, flower shop, etc. It was the first time I used my card in 3 weeks. I don't know if the machine or the system is hacked there. Use cash to pay, avoid problems.

Such a great place! The food is amazing!! The wings are huge, the pepper jack balls are delicious, and the service was excellent! We have been coming to Cooks Forest the weekend before Thanksgiving for almost 40 years, and never stopped here. We came in today for the OSU vs Indiana game, and are blown away. The 8 of us confirmed this is on our list for food and beer every year now, so good!

New to the area, decided to stop in for food & a beer. Donna was sweet, funny, and welcoming. Chicken tenders were perfectly delicious.

Was attending cooks forest chainsaw carvers round up. At the sawmill center for the arts and decided it was time for dinner and did not wat to cook. Myself and two others decided on burgers and headed for knotty pines. When we arrived the bar tender handed us the menu and told us the special was chicken and biscuits. It was immediately agreed 3 of these would be necessary. We weren't disappointed it was delicious! We scrapped our plates clean and continued on with our evening satisfied and with full bellys! This is my second time eating at Knotty pines my first one was a delightful experience as well.

It was mine and my families first time eating here and I know it won’t be our last. Everything we all got was so good. Seasoned perfectly, hot when it came out, and the staff was friendly. Can’t wait to come back up to get some really good food in a really cool place!

The place is beautiful. The food was atrocious. Price does not reflect quality. And I was given a small bag of chips as my side. Like, a Lays bag of chips. I paid $15 for a hamburger and a bag of chips. Disappointed to say the least. I expected more with the menu prices and the decor. Our waitress was more interested in making sure the 3 people at the bar were well attended. We saw her one time after she delivered our food. And that was to deliver the check. There are plenty of better options. Even the little shop by the Pale Whale is better.
