My husband and I ate here both times we went to cooks forest during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The food was very delicious (especially the burgers!). We played a song on the jukebox and it was a little loud but we just laughed about it. Would definitely eat here again!
We’ve been hesitant to try this place due to some of the negative reviews. I’m happy to say that our experience and food were fantastic. Yes, we did wait 45 mins for our food (Sunday morning, steady but not slammed). The food was very good. The pancakes were huge, fluffy, and a little crispy around the edges. Prices were great in comparison to what’s normal these days. As long as you’re not starving and can wait, totally worth the trip.
A true roadside treasure that won't leave you broke. My family of 4 stopped for lunch and spent less (including tip) then we would have at any fast food place. Highly recommend dessert!
