Food is always fresh and tasty. Best Mexican cuisine in the area. It’s in a market place, so atmosphere is busy.

I’ve seen this spot on so many lists as one of the best taco places in or around the city, so I figured I’d try it out while I was at the market.

I stood at the counter for 3 minutes without being acknowledged, while there were 4 employees standing there. No one said hello, and quite honestly seemed bothered that I was there. The food was bland. I thought the sauces weren’t flavorful either. It wasn’t horrible, but I was expecting to be blown away since I’ve seen this place get rave reviews…but I suppose it’s catered to the palates of the elderly Americans who can’t handle authentic ethnic flavors.

It was overall just meh. Go across the river and get food from the numerous authentic spots downtown instead

We tried this place today. We had the shrimp tacos and pork tacos, both dishes were loaded with shrimp and pork. We also had a side of rice. I like that they have a condiments bar, that includes pico, onions, lime, jalapeños(sweet), salsa Verde, and other cremas. The food was delicious. We definitely plan to return and try the other foods.

I love the beef tongue tacos. Tender and SO flavourful. Dont let the "tongue" scare you away from adventurous eating!

I never leave reviews because it’s not in my nature. But man when I tell you I paid 5.50 for a water logged chicken taco and 3.50 for chorizo empanada that ended up being a sweet potato purée empanada.. it was disappointing. Dont waste your money. The food is bland. Not seasoned and far too expensive for what you’re getting. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because it was a edible and I was starved. Skip this place for sure.

I really liked coming here. Great authentic place. The service could have been better but they were definitely trying their best with only 3 employees. You can watch them make your food, we were at the West Shore Farmers Market where we watched one person prep all the ingredients, one person cook, and one person taking all the orders. We got the Empanadas and Taquitos. Everything we got was only $14 for the both of us and we couldn't finish all of it. Both could have used more flavor, but that hot sauce is soooo good they top everything with the red sauce (it's very spicy) but it made everything better. Overall, good food, and made me feel good eating local!

Ps- loved their sign giving you the directions to the nearest taco bell 😂

Heard her belittle a employee over something really small and mumble some pretty colorful comments about the ethnicity of her staff . Pretty sad to see and will never be doing business with them
