I was there alone for lunch and it wasn't a great experience.Food: I ordered the boneless chicken biryani lime soda and chicken roast (appetizer). The chicken roast was awesome..perfectly spiced and roasted. I would go for that again.Biryani was not that great. Rice was a bit dry and the chicken could use some more spiciness. Chicken lacked flavors. Nect time would try their other biryanis.I was at their NJ outlet and loved pretty much all the dishes. Hope the menus are synced up.I loved the "fresh" lime soda...bur here is the unpleasantness. I ordered a second one and the waiter took my glass into the kitchen and refilled it...leaving the previous straw in it..UNACCEPTABLE. i realized it when i drank 75% of it ( bane of immersing in phone).Atmosphere: They should get rid of the sagging tables and at least keep the front of the restaurant clutter-free...or rearrange.Overall it was good.Service: Some basic level of waitering training needs to be provided. Checking on customers, cleaning up tables etc.I will go back again soon and see if i change my opinion.

Great place for South Indian food in this place and seems to be the only place… came here specifically for the dosas and it turned out to be excellent! With a filter coffee, it turned out be a real good one!!! Though couldn’t try other items, I bet they should be good as they looked good!!! Highly recommended

Good food and great service. Had visited the same brand, Nalan at a different location in PA. Ordered chicken kuthu parotta, dosa, tandoori chicken and veg biriyani. Server was very attentive. Found items to be a bit more oily than I would have liked. Overall, a decent experience.

We drove 45 minutes for this mouth watering adventure. As soon as you park in the parking lot the smells hit you like in the cartoons.Let's start: The Naan, perfectly layered with garlic and butter, melts in your mouth. We ordered some to go home with as well.We ordered the buttery chicken and Lamb Kerala coconut lamb.I stopped eating and started to type this review. I kid you not after the first bite I turned into A Google food critic and had to tell the masses without any seconds to waste. The lamb was perfect. The big bold flavors were amazing. Upon completion, I had a delicious cup of coffee. We asked if they can do a party of 8, and started plotting out our next adventure here bringing some friends.

Best place for authentic Indian food with super friendly staff. At first I was bit hesitant to take my wife there but the food made my wife extremely happy and as we know, “Happy wife, Happy life”!Kudos to people who are running the show of Nalan.. Cheers!!

The service was awesome. We arrived with a big group, and were quickly seated. The food came out fresh and hot. The food was delicious. it is difficult to find a place that cooks authentic Indian food. This was a refreshing change. Just be careful with the spicy level :)

For a small place, The food is delicious! It’s authentic Indian food as I’m told by some Indian customers but honestly you certainly don’t have to be Indian to enjoy a majority of the meals. I’m partial to the chilli paneer, the ghee dosa, the tandoori pomfret and the naans and the veg samosa and the goat biryani and the mushroom mutter masala…….. you get the picture ? The service is also very very good. Joyce is the absolute best. So warm and friendly and very knowledgeable of all the dishes and she’s not even Indian!
