Rubbin' Meats Backyard BBQ

We wanted to support as many small, local businesses as possible during wedding planning, and we were thrilled when we found Rubbin Meats Backyard BBQ. After trying their pulled pork, I immediately asked if they catered weddings. Kevin, the owner, is incredible to work with. He truly cares and reiterated multiple times that he wanted our day to go perfectly. He is very responsive, kind, and dedicated. Everyone loved the food and we felt so happy to support a small business. If you ever need a caterer, please check them out.

Found this spot on Google, driving south on a road trip and this place did not disappoint AT ALL! ...Staff was super friendly and didn't take long to cook! Amazing food and flavors. Definitely will be back!

Had the brisket platter. Brisket is awesome! Man n cheese, fries, and slaw are also top notch! Good spicy bbq and Carolina sauces are very good but the brisket doesn’t need any.

Brisket tasted like 2 day old meat reheated on a grill with bacon grease. Coleslaw was definitely turning bad, pulled pork tasted like it was made in a crock pot and very bland. Would not recommend

Saw the food truck at Walmart today and when I tell yall the smell alone had me hooked, you best know it did. Let me just say, these folks KNOW bbq! I got an order of the BBQ pork nachos and they were heavenly, I don't clean plates usually but I left mine spotless. These folks do not skimp on portions either! I had a platter that weighed about 1/2 a lb and most of it was meat! Give these folks a try, yout stomach will thank you for it.

stopped on a whim Wednesday night while your truck was in Mechanicsburg square! and I'd have to say this is some of the best brisket I've had in ages and I've been in the Industry for over 10 years! you got a good thing here, keep going! can't wait to run in to your truck again!

Kevin made me a cheeseburger topped with brisket that was awesome! And we also tried the mac n cheese with pulled pork! Great guys to talk to and even better food to eat! 10/10

I contacted Rubbin' Meats BBQ to inquire about catering my son's 1st birthday party. I was overwhelmed with all the party planning and decided last minute I didn't want to do the food myself. I contacted Kevin with short notice, and he was so kind and understanding! I can't say it enough - They are the BEST!!!!!Kevin truly cared about making great food for the party and he came through - the meats, sauces, rolls, coleslaw - everything was perfect! They are now my go-to caterer for big family events & parties. 100000/10 recommend.

Outstanding brisket sub plenty of everything peppers onions and cheese. Off the rails brisket for sure!

Quick stop off 83 on our way through town. Brisket was excellent. The boys in the truck were a delight to chat with.
