I am disappointed. I visited Tequila Willies for the first time, and as a deaf person, I usually expect that bars and restaurants will have closed captions on their TVs. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any closed captions, and when I spoke to a manager, she informed me that there was no remote available. I was shocked. I ordered the lemon butter salmon based on what I read on the menu. However, when I took a bite, I was very disappointed. It had no flavor at all—it was just plain. The salmon was dry and lacked any juicy texture or lemon butter taste. I decided to return it. Not wanting to pay for it, I left the restaurant and resolved not to return. The salmon cost $25, and it was small with no lemon butter flavor. A bartender showed me a small bowl of what she claimed was lemon butter, but when I looked at it, it didn’t seem right. I tasted it, and it was terrible. It did not taste like lemon butter at all. I went to Duke's Riverside from next door, Tequila Willies. The food is better than at Tequila Willies. I watch TV with closed captions. I feel better. I never go back to Tequila Willies because there is no good salmon and no closed captions on TV.

Attended a retirement party. The servers were on it! The drinks kept coming without having to track someone down. We had the bacon wrapped jalepenos. They were crispy and arrived at the table hot.

The most delicious tasting pulled pork tacos I've ever had with a barbecue sauce that had just the right balance of spicy and tanginess. You can tell there's a commitment to clean, fresh, homemade food in their recipes. Their gumbo is also to die for and tastes like a lighter version of what I've had in local establishments in New Orleans.

Saturday 3/29/2025 my family and I visited your establishment. We received the absolute best service from Riley. I was in the middle of a low blood sugar emergency; it happens and very quickly. In the midst of my gibberish, Riley quickly brought me Orange Juice, was attentive and patient while my family decided on a meal. Riley was busy but never faltered to check on us. I’m so thankful that we had Riley as a server last night. I hope your company knows how hardworking of a staff member you have!

To start, when we got there the hostess informed us that they could not provide us with a specific wait time. I have never been to a restaurant before and heard this. Then, we went at the time we did specifically for happy hour. This was on a Saturday at 5 pm. We were sat in about 25 minutes, but unfortunately there was a table of six adults and six children next to us and it was unbelievably loud. We ordered lots of drinks because it was getting close to 6pm when happy hour was over so we put them in on time. When we got our checks, the drinks were not discounted at all and we were also charged an extra side of sour cream we didn’t even get. We called the waitress over to address these issues, but they unfortunately didn’t seem to care and didn’t do anything to rectify the situation. We proceeded to get a manager. He came over with the happy hour menu informing us that it has previously changed and that for frozen drinks it is $2.50 extra. I paid $12.75 for a frozen margarita which is honestly insane. He told us the drinks were $1 off instead of the 50% they used to be, which is the whole reason why we went there. We were unsatisfied to say the least.

We were there this past Friday night. Got in right away, which was surprising and great. Service could have been better but food and atmosphere were good that is until the next day when all three members of my family ended up with food poisoning… I doubt we will be coming back.

This place has totally great vibes. The food is excellent. The decor is really nice. And the people who work here do a great job. I am from out of town, and this is the second time I have been here. I will be back for a third time.
Went here today and got the carne asada fries as an appetizer. Maybe it's because the restaurant was empty, but that was the biggest plate of fries I've ever seen, no joke. We got a third of it finished before our meals were out. And both of us finished even less of that. The food is well seasoned. If your are in a large group the appetizer is well worth it. It's pretty expensive but you definitely get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend for a date night or a large friend outing. For two people you will have dinner for the next day.

If you want a huge plate of tortilla chips with a small amount of food on top as an "entree" then this is your place. Our server shared this was her 1st day. My order came out with food missing. Another server delivered the missing food item. Original server said "oh they forgot your food item" I'm sorry. It is the server's job to deliver what I ordered. She was at fault & didn't take ownership. Over priced plate of tortilla chips plus poor service. Dissappointed. Sadly will not be returning.
