Excellent restaurant for large groups! We had lunch during the week and it wasn't busy. The service is impeccable! Helpful and friendly with great suggestions. The appetizers were yummy and the main dishes were delicious with large portions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and the beer selection and cocktails were plentiful. We will certainly be back!!

Everything was fantastic except our server. The person that took us to our table was great, the person that brought our food was friendly and engaging. Our server was not friendly until it was time to bring the check and she also forgot several things through out the meal. No side plates for us to share our appetizer, she forgot our salads and then only brought back one all after our meal had already arrived. It was a shame because everything else was outstanding and would have been 5 stars across the board but the service left us disappointed. We will be back and hope for better.

It was trivia night, so we had to contend with someone talking over us through the PA system while we tried to talk at our table. The food was okay oaky. I had the fish and chips and it was a plate full of fries and just one piece of fish that was over cooked. Service was also pretty slow.

Our reservation was for 7:00 on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately. After requesting a quiet table in the reservation, we were seated in a back booth for 4 in a room that was completely filled with banquet tables (housing at least 60 other loud diners). We found out subsequently that they all arrived without a reservation. Consequently, the kitchen ran out of their Ocktoberfest special, and the house Chardonnay! The food that was available and served was fine. Our waiter, Aaron did an outstanding job, given the circumstances. He deftly handled the overwhelming number of diners, with humor and aplomb. We have always enjoyed Funck's. We learned that booking on a Saturday evening, on the first weekend of a “special” like Oktoberfest, is not the best time to go.

We had a reservation and when we arrived there were a number of open tables. It seems we were seated at one of the worst. Right next to the door by the bar that went outside. Everyone (waitstaff & people dining outside) were coming and going past us constantly We both had Oktoberfest specials. Both were served in bowls that made eating them a bit tricky. A regular plate would have been much easier to deal with.

not from the area and wanted to try out this place. EXCELLENT food and great service, will say the toasted marshmallow martini was amazing got me a little tipsy and the brisket tacos are to die for. sadly if you are a vegetarian there’s not many options

Always a great spot for fish and seafood tacos! We stumbled upon an evening that had a ticket raffle with various levels of prizes! No sign up needed. Wonderful service with even better ambiance.
