We had an amazing experience at the Log Cabin last evening. The entire staff was exceptional. The winter menu just came out so we were fortunate enough to enjoy some of the new dishes. We can highly recommend the duck. We will definitely be back.

Food was excellent. Sadly steak prices were beyond the value of this food category and not terribly competitive in the local market, regardless of its reputable quality .

Perfect spot for our anniversary dinner. Nice quiet table. Drinks and food were amazing. Recommendations and service from MJ our server were top notch. Thanks for a great night.

I always dine here when in the area. Consistently a 5 star experience. Diverse menu, excellent service, and the most delicious food anywhere !

First time dining at The Log Cabin but we plan on making it a regular dinner spot. The ambience was great and the food outstanding. Our server gave us great suggestions for drinks and meals. The sticky toffee desert topped off a perfect evening.

Dinner with my girlfriend was excellent! Our food came out at a perfect pace and was hot and delicious. Our server, Julie, was very kind and continually checked on us to make sure we were having the best dining experience we could. Dinner exceeded our expectations pleasantly, and we're excited to visit again!

Terrific cocktails, wine and entrees! We sat fireside (real woodburning fire) in a wonderful atmosphere. Our server, Christine, was knowledgeable and attentive. A great night out in a restaurant a full notch above most in the area.

Excellent atmosphere, food and service were great. Great place for special occasions to dine and converse in the woods.

The staff was arrogant and rude, the food was either undercooked or over cooked. Very disappointing, have had much better meals at lower level restaurants.

Fun place. Excellent service. My appetizer was a little cold, and my duck was undercooked. Everything tasted good. The air was smoky due to the fireplace.

Special place for us and family. Price increases pose threat to its future.

Edit: With more time and a keyboard: Under various ownership, I have dined here for 45 years. That would give me at least 150 visits, and I've held private corporate dinners as well. So something here is special. It's just hard to run a restaurant, hard to keep great staff without paying above scale, and it is a tough time for beef prices as the owner notes below. Great article by the way, on the restaurant business from WSJ. I will continue to dine here well into the future because i can. But some will find prices off putting, and I think charging for a few slices of not-fresh bread service unnecessary - not special enough to deserve to charge. Love the onion soup, the beef, the osso bucco, the salmon; but it is the only restaurant, perhaps across 48 states of dining, where neither of us care for the mushrooms. That's odd.

I would be disappointed if it were not in my rotation.

I've been aware of the Log Cabin for decades but for one reason or another I've never actually been. I've made a terrible mistake. The atmosphere delivers. The staff was amazing, and the food was fantastic. My daughter had potato crusted halibut (not pic). My wife had the scallop and cod cakes. I had the pork shank osso buco. Everything was cooked to perfection, seasoned perfectly and the accompaniments were a very creative blend of flavors. Their chef is very talented. I just couldn't say goodbye without trying their sticky toffee pudding, which lived up to it's reputation.
I'll definitely be returning to try some other selections from that incredible menu.

This place was fantastic! Yeah, it’s a little pricey, but honestly worth every penny. When we went, there was live music and the band was amazing — it gave the whole night such a fun vibe.

The food? Outstanding. The pork was hands-down the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. Everything else we tried was great too, but that pork stole the show.

Our waiter was awesome — super friendly, attentive, and made us feel really taken care of without hovering.

Overall, between the atmosphere, the music, the food, and the service, it was just a great experience. I’d definitely come back whenever I’m in the area.

Lovely place, great for special occasions. The ribeye steak was very good, a little over seasoned for my taste. We also had Duck, pork belly and oysters all of us enjoyed.
