I used 2 Little Piggy’s catering for my 2022 wedding and have debated leaving an honest review ever since but I think it’s important. We got married at a venue with preferred caterers and this was one of them. If I knew what I knew now, I never would have went through with them.They were recommended to us as a vegan friendly option and the food was actually so good and the reason for the two stars. I ordered vegan cheesesteaks for one of my dishes and I was truly so impressed by the quality, so that was great! My non-vegan guests also loved the food so there was no complaints on taste.Unfortunately, Julie is quite abrasive and unresponsive. I was planning my wedding from across the country and was scolded for being impatient when I followed up 3 times in 6 weeks. I could not get this woman to respond to me to save my life. Because of this, there was SO much miscommunication. I repeatedly asked what I needed to provide and never received answers, or I would get a one sentence reply with little explanation. On the phone she would cut me off if I had questions. At the tasting, my family said she was rude. I was the chilliest bride and made so many excuses for her but they were right!Come wedding day, this woman had the audacity to storm into my bridal suite mid-makeup and talk down to me like a toddler for not having enough cups. My bridal party, MUA and hairstylist were in shock and disgust. I can’t even describe how mean she was - I felt like a toddler! If she was that worried about cups as a professional, she should handle it herself and charge me later. Go away. Literally yelling in my face an hour before I walked down the aisle. Insane behavior and I am still in shock that she did that. Thankfully I’m not easily intimidated, but the fact that I had to tell the venue to ensure the caterer does not speak to me the rest of the day is shocking. She did leave and then the head server she left in her place was rude as hell to me and my guests during the reception. My guests actually rave about my wedding and yet someone always manages to bring up the “mean chef lady” - that’s embarrassing for me and should be for them too.I did eventually complain to my VENUE. The venue themselves were incredibly nice and apologetic and I am so grateful to them. But I never got an apology or acknowledgment from the caterers.I’m grateful this didn’t come close to ruining my wedding, but I deeply regret giving these people my money. I worked with so many vendors for our day and this is the only one I had a negative thing to say about. I hope 2 Little Piggy’s chooses to hire someone else to handle their admin in the future because the owners seem to be incapable of doing so without becoming emotional.

I loved Julie from the very first email. Not only are her prices incredibly fair when it comes to wedding catering, but she is SO willing to do ANYTHING you want, even if it’s not on her menu. We jokingly asked about an oyster bar at our tasting, and she said, “Yep! We can do that!” So we did; Julie shucked them herself and they were some of the best we’ve ever had! My one dream for my wedding since I was little was to have pie instead of cake, and she was SO on board when I brought it up to her. I also wanted a “cider bar welcome” with hot and cold cider for guests as they arrived, and she made it happen. She made every personalized detail come to life, and it was all perfect and delicious. We ended up pretty much revamping our entire menu after our tasting because we wanted a different vibe, and we have zero regrets about going the BBQ route. The food was phenomenal. People loved it. The buffet moved quickly. Her servers were amazing (people keep telling me how attentive, present, and kind they were; we experienced the same as the bride and groom). People never had to wait in long lines at the bar. Julie and her staff even went above and beyond to help clean up our decor after the event. She is an expert at what she does. You can’t go wrong hiring her and her team. Truly couldn’t have asked for better!

We were excited to use this catering company as it was recommended through our venue and had great reviews. Unfortunately, due to Covid and my mother-in-law’s terminal illness we chose to cancel our wedding. We asked Julie with more than a year in advance if there was any way we could have our $500 deposit refunded. She said we could if someone else booked services on our date. (8-7-2021). She told us that no one booked our date therefore we couldn’t get our deposit back. This was a lie as she did have another booking on the date. She pocketed our $500, she said she could give back if the date was booked. We understood that it was a non-refundable deposit but she shouldn’t have told us she’d make an exception and then blatantly lie to us. Fortunately, we cancelled our wedding because my mother-in-law passed away a month to the date before we were to be married. For such a well respected company we expected to receive a little compassion in a difficult time for our family in the midst of a global pandemic. Personally, I didn’t like her attitude from the beginning which should’ve been a red flag. I debated writing this review as I’m not typically someone that writes negative reviews but I think it needs to be known that the owner is dishonest and lacks empathy. Our venue gave us our $7000+ deposit back (which was also non-refundable but they were understanding) not sure why a $500 deposit couldn’t be given back.

I was more then thrilled to have Julie and her staff cater our wedding. Being that both my husband and I are vegan, we didn't give a BBQ catering company much thought....lol. One of my vendors told me to reach out to her because he was more then certain she could accommodate anybodys dietary needs. WELL.....let me tell you. This lady is a godsend and made us the happiest couple on the planet that day with the dishes she curated. Food is so important at a wedding and she exceeded all expectations. Every person I talked to that night raved about the food. She helped us with our bar, linens, tableware, arbor drape, coffee bar ect. We attended a wedding on 9/24/2023. We received 9 complaints from guests. Prime Rib was cold. The chicken parm was cold and overcooked. Servers were denying folks a 2 nd helping. Servers were rude. 10/10 recommend! Julie and her team catered our wedding at The Farm Bakery and Events in November of last year and did such an INCREDIBLE job. I do not mean that lightly! From the start, Julie was such a pleasure to work with, easy to reach, and very helpful with questions, concerns, and personalizations. She is very familiar with the venue, which was extremely helpful during the planning process. The food was so delicious (our guests couldn't stop talking about it), their service was impeccable (Julie kept coming up to my husband and I to make sure we had everything we needed), the bartenders were great (and good sports because it was super cold at one of our bar locations) and the drinks were crowd pleasers! Definitely use Julie and her team for your next event! We miss you Julie!!!

We paid extra for chicken and waffles and within 10 minutes of cocktail hour there were no waffles. To top it all off they stopped serving chicken because they had no waffles left. Secondly there was a last minute item change to the other cocktail hour display. The added item just happened to be something I (the bride) and one of the bridesmaids have severe allergies too. The change was never discussed or on any final contracts that were signed. I have reached out to share my concerns but have received no response.

They also did the decor and floral arrangements- I didn’t really pick anything specific, I just told Julie the aesthetic we were going for and the color palette and she and her team absolutely crushed it.
