A bar should be neutral ground. A place where strangers share space, where stories unfold across tables and glasses. In my games, the bar is often a cutscene hub—a location where bonds are forged and the player exhales between missions. Gleason’s Bar in Levittown fails at this most basic function.
The staff here did not create an atmosphere of welcome. Instead of hospitality, I felt exclusion. Instead of connection, I felt hostility rooted in prejudice. Racism is not simply bad service—it is a breach of the entire concept of community. It transforms what should be a safehouse into enemy territory.
In Metal Gear Solid, betrayal always comes from within. A trusted ally reveals themselves to be something darker, and suddenly the mission changes. That is the sensation here: stepping into a place expecting camaraderie, only to feel the quiet weight of bias in the air. It corrodes everything—the food, the drink, the atmosphere. Nothing matters once respect is gone.
A bar without trust is a failed base. A staff that divides instead of welcomes is not just unprofessional—it is destructive.
One star. Because no matter the drinks, no matter the prices, racism poisons the entire experience.

Great huge bar. Funny pictures all over! The food is always good. Get a slab steak get a chopped steak doesn’t matter! The wings were ELITE! Lastly, the panzerottis, cheesesteak egg rolls, and guru sauce are unreal.

WOW!!! What a great hidden gem. Fantastic, real cheesesteaks. Great wings with the local legendary “Griffins Sauce”. Anyone who know wings in Bucks County know that means great wings!!

First time here this weekend. Definitely a place we will be coming back to. Awesome drinks, friendly staff and a creative menu. Wings were so well sauced but still incredibly crispy which is my personal favorite.

Fiona the bartender was absolutely amazing.. I am a former bartender and she exceeded my expectations by as soon as we walked in the door and making sure that the five of us were able to sit together while enjoying the band and the very crowded bar. After making sure that all of our drinks were OUTSTANDING... she checked in every 15 20 minutes, to make sure we were great! Our group does not get together often, but we definitely picked the right place
