The girls they have running this place couldn't care less. The service is rude, impatient, and like they couldn't wait for you to leave so they can go back to looking at their phones. The pastries do not taste fresh, they taste like old refrigerator taste, and even if they were the best in the world, the customer service experience is bad enough to avoid. I have never seen an actual adult in the place. When I come to shop next door at Hmart after work, the girls are locking the place up at 6:55 and the place is a ghost town when I exit Hmart at 7:10. They truly do not care about the business and I encourage the owners of the store to rethink putting your teen family members in charge of it.

My husband bought me a birthday cake today we just had a piece the cake was very dry taste like it's been sitting awhile very disapointed, I will be throwing the cake away waste of 17.00

As a frequent customer (also one who bought their wedding cake from here ) I am really disappointed in todays customer service . I never had an issue before , however , coming in today , there was different women behind the desk . Apparently , by the glare and huffing and puffing of the girl wearing a purple shirt , we were an annoyance while picking out cupcakes that took less than 1 minute . She was even said “are you serious “ when more people entered the store . Now , I understand the hustle and bustle of the season and how it is busy in customer service . But I have never had a bad experience in the 10 years I’ve come here . And today , 12/23/2023 @ 1230pm , I am really disappointed in the service .Very rude.

Visited on 12-21-23 between 4-5 PM. Asked the girl behind the counter if there was any sfogliatelle. Seeing as I'm not Italian, I'm sure I butchered the name, so I understood why she initially didn't know what I meant. Proceeded to pull up a picture on Google to show her what I wanted, and the response I received was simply "no." No what? No there's none left in stock today? No we don't sell that anymore? (It's listed on the website, see pic) She refused to elaborate and left me awkwardly standing there. Then as opposed to asking if there was anything else she could help me with, she ignored me to turn and gossip with the other girl behind the counter about a customer who had just been in the store. So rude and unprofessional. My Italian boyfriend grew up patronizing this bakery, & I wanted to surprise him with his favorite pastry for Christmas. Told him and his family what happened, & they were very disappointed for me. We will be finding another bakery to patronize from now on.

Bread is always great every time we come… only issue is the service. The staff is made up of several teenage girls who don’t even acknowledge the customer when they come in. Last time we visited, there were 3 of them having a gossip session behind the counter. Two of them went to the back while the third came up and said “Are you guys ready yet?” We had only been looking for about 30 seconds, so it felt like we were being rushed so that they could get back to their conversation. We then asked the employee if the loaf we were pointing to was white or wheat bread, as it wasn’t labeled. She responded “Italian?” and made us feel like we were stupid for asking a common question. As she was checking us out, she gave us back our change and immediately walked back to her friends. No “Have a nice day!” or anything of the sort. The product here is great, but I hope that the management can start to emphasize proper customer service to their employees.

Was there today paid $8.50 for a dry stale buttercake!! Threw it out immediately!! Also bought cherry crumb cake very stale dry! Threw it out!!! What a waste of money!!!
Omg so GOOD Torpedo steak sandwich rolls. I keep it simple, slice 10 squares of butter , slice bun, open, 5 on top 5 on bottom...you know, in a preheated oven, for 25 seconds .

Bought a cheese log that was moldy (ate right away in the car and didn't see the mold on the other half til I got home). My husband's cherry turnover type pastry also had a couple spots of green mold on it. The pastries look huge but the second you take a bite it's like you're chewing on air. Disappointing. The cookies are gross and hard. Just bought pizza dough yesterday cause I need it to make my daughter's pizza rolls and couldn't find my usual. (yes I know i can make it myself but with toddlers that's impossible when you're the only one watching them). Hopefully i don't go to use it today and find mold on it or find out it's old. I see other people had problems with mold, this place should definitely be examined by a health inspector and maybe even shut down until they can get their act together. the cannolis are good just tried them yesterday. Hopefully there wasn't hidden mold on the inside of the cannoli pastry cause it seems like something they would do on purpose just to not "waste" their own time and money and food.

This place is a cute, vibrant local bakery. They seem to have many varieties of bread, cakes, etc. We went to pick some fresh dinner rolls and got these amazing 1/2 torpedo rolls. We loved them, this was the nearest to a Goan Pav. We missed eating Goan Pav in the US but this place gave us the taste of home.

My grandma's been coming here for years! I decided to come in and pick her up a treat, as well as a loaf of freshly baked pumpernickel bread . Wow ! What a hit! Yum! Also very nice staff!!!
