Never been there and not interested
We come here a lot. The area gets a lot of business travelers and Sesame visitors. The food in the area is not wonderful. The food at Mirim, tho, is legit. We got a weird teen waitress one time, so one star off for service, but it might've been a one off.

If you’re into surprise charges, sticky tables, and being served tea you never asked for (and then charged for it), this is your dream spot. Prices magically don’t match the menu, and of course, they kindly slap on a 22% gratuity without a word. A masterclass in how not to run a restaurant. Avoid unless you’re craving disappointment with a side of grime.

This establishment leaves much to be desired. The table surfaces were noticeably unclean, and discrepancies between listed menu prices and the final charges were concerning. Additionally, a 22% gratuity was included in the bill without prior notice or consent. Overall, this experience reflected a lack of professionalism and transparency. I would not recommend this restaurant to those seeking a clean, honest, and well-managed dining environment.

Terrible experience. The food was bland and overpriced, and they automatically added a 22% tip without any notice — a clear scam tactic. This place is dishonest and trying to trick customers. Avoid it at all costs. There are far better and more transparent restaurants around.

Very disappointed with the hidden charges.
We were not informed in advance that a mandatory 20% service charge would be automatically added to our bill for a group of four. This unexpected charge completely threw off our budget and ruined the mood for the evening. Transparency is important—guests should be clearly notified about extra fees before ordering. We won’t be coming back and don’t recommend this place to others.

The food was disappointing and the overall experience felt dishonest. This restaurant automatically adds a minimum 20% gratuity without clearly informing customers, which feels like a sneaky money grab. Portions were average, prices were high. I do not recommend this place — there are much better and more honest restaurants nearby.

We have driven by this restaurant many times, but never stopped in. When searching Google for places serving Bibimbap (a Korean rice dish), Mirim showed up and I recognized the name immediately. So glad we went! We were there a bit early for a Saturday night (5:30 or so). The place was nicely decorated and felt like a bit of a higher end restaurant than you would expect from the location (old, tiny strip center). My husband ordered an Edamame appetizer, the Bibimbap and an iced green tea. I ordered the Oyster Mushroom roll, Shrimp Shumai, and a honey plumb iced tea. We were also served a few complimentary sides which was a nice touch. Everything was delicious, but the bibimbap was the star! If you like rice dishes, you really should try this! Served in a piping hot cast iron bowl with a fried egg on top. When you break open the egg and mix in with the rice, you get a glorious layer of crispy rice around the sides and bottom of the bowl. There's enough rice to feed 2-3 people! Prices are a touch high (our total bill before tip was just over $60), but quality and quantity of the meal was worth it. Plus, in today's climate, we weren't really surprised. So, if you enjoy Korean and Japanese cuisine, or have never tried and are curious, please give Mirim a try! Our waitress was the owner (along with her husband). After speaking with her and hearing her story, you really can tell they are trying to live their dream. Your patronage can help keep it alive :)

Extremely slow service and it’s not even busy, sat for 20 mins no water or anything. Menu is priced about 20-30% higher than other similar restaurants. Food is meh, below average, even lower if you account for the price. Been here multiple times and it’s nah from me.
