Absolute gem. Go here now, I mean tonight. Not much to look at as you pull up, but ignore that. Clean and welcoming on the inside.Babaganoush was smoky, silky, fresh and bright on perfectly cooked bread. The mixed grill had a bit of everything from the menu and we loved it all. Meat and vegetables grilled on charcoal and perfectly seasoned. Everyone from the guy that only eats grilled steak to the Indian food afficiando will love this place. Staff was warm and welcoming. In a world of chain restaurants serving poorly cooked processed crap, we need more places like this. Delicious, fresh, healthy food with character. Don't know what you are missing. BYOB.

My husband brought me here for Valentine's Day. Right at the entrance we were greeted by the owner and the waitress. The food came in timely fashion and all though it was just the two of them, the service was up to par. The best part was the food! Delicious! The BBQ platter was large enough for two. The meat was tender. The rest of the good was also fresh and very yummy. And well the coffee with dessert was a cherry on top. 5 stars across the board.Only suggestion I would make is lighting up the parking lot, coming in in the evening hours we nearly missed it. Very dark. Also, while the inside had a Turkish theam, the place needs an update. The wooden chairs were well wooden chairs. Not very comfortable. So 4 stars for the atmosphere.

Stopped in for some take-out. I had a chicken kabob sandwich and my companion had a lamb gyro. We both enjoyed a cup of lentil soup. The sandwich was enough for 2 meals and very flavorful. Looking forward to my next visit for some delicious Mediterranean food.

The cook is the waiter which is also the cashier but he was an awesome cook. Would recommend if you want authentic food.

Great meal. Would definitely eat here again. Our group had 3 different lamb meals and all were excellent. My son loved the calamari. Soups and salads were excellent as well.Dietary restrictions: Some of us can't eat dairy and we were able to find safe options.

When it comes to Mediterranean / Turkish food I'm legitimately questioning if I've ever had any as good as what I just had tonight at Sofra. Every dish was what I wanted it to be. Every part of the cold appetizer platter was perfect. The hummus was the best hummus. The eggplant was addictive. The crushed veggies were delicious. And then my grilled chicken combo came out and it was all awesome. I've been to places with similar cuisine and I've enjoyed it, but I've never really been blown away. I'll get all excited by the sight of meats on long skewers or delicious looking dips only to eat them and think, "Yeah that's pretty good, but I don't think I'd pay for it again."But at Sofra it was like someone finally got things right. It not only looked beautiful, but the food tasted as seasoned as delicious as I'd always wanted this type of cuisine to be.It it a little pricey? Yes. Normally I'm cheap as hell and would write a place off if the food was more than I wanted to pay on a night out, but this food was so good that I already know for a fact I'll be back. It's worth it.If you get the app platter maybe split it with three of four people instead of two. We were stuffed. Go give them your business because we all know the location is a TOUGH one. Only one side of the street can turn in and it's easy not to notice it there as you zoom by on 13. But you should really go there like... today.

This food is not good. I been waiting for 45 minutes to get my order and is too expensive I got the Lamb Curry and rate it 3/10. Nice portion but it was covered in oil and grease. The flavor was like canned tomato soup. I also got the Hummus and rate it 0/10. It has O flavor, it was way to soupy, and the bread was thin.I definitely recommend a 10 minute drive to go to Sofa adam kabob their hummus and dishes are tuthentic is the best kabob in town

Bristol and the area around it is slowly, but surely, getting some great food. A few years ago Noemy's shows up and now I finally tried Sofra. Go here. Go here right away. As soon as you can find the time go here. When it comes to Mediterranean / Turkish food I'm legitimately questioning if I've ever had any as good as what I just had tonight at Sofra.
