This is a cute little place with great food. Everything is fresh, including my wonderful pancake, which I ordered with real maple syrup. Yummmmm.

I have eaten at cedar street countless times usually in the morning if I eat here I usually have a muffin or a pancake and its usually decent quality.

"If the door is open it isn't theft You can't return to where you've never left The foolish pride that sends you back for more Up on Cedarwood, Cedarwood Road" (U2) It's a coffee bar, a bakery, and a restaurant that's open Tuesday through Sunday from 7-2. They offer breakfast and lunch menus every day, but on Sunday its breakfast only. You'll find them inside the Wight Farm complex at 420 Main Street, but be sure to enter the big parking lot from Cedar Street to get there. Don't make the same mistake we made and look for a Main Street entrance! Our server Rachel was super cool - funny, engaging, professional and quite awesome. We walked in a little after noon on a Saturday and went right to the breakfast menu. I ordered the Southwest Burrito, a big serving with scrambled eggs, sausage, roasted jalapeno, onion, red pepper, and corn for $10. The menu said it would be served with a peppered cheese sauce that I declined. It was served with an equally big serving of grilled potato chunks. I loved my meal - half of the burrito and potatoes were quite delicious and filling, so I'll enjoy the other half soon. At $10, it was excellent and a helluva great value. My wife ordered The Cafe Breakfast of two eggs with home fries and toast for $9. She ordered her eggs "Over Medium", but she said they were cooked a little too long to qualify as "Over Medium" because the yolk is supposed to be slightly runny instead of stationary. That quibble aside, we really enjoyed our visit to the Cedar Street Cafe. Our two breakfasts and an iced coffee ran just $22,50 before tax and tip, and we did take home half of my dish and half of her home fries.

The food was terrible. I ordered a simple sandwich that I had to send back twice. I gave up after that ended up throwing half of it away. The setting itself is very pleasant but would definitely NOT recommend eating here.

Just went on a Saturday at 1pm to try to have a meal indoors. We stood by the sign that said "please wait to be seated" for almost ten minutes- multiple staff stood near us and walked by and around us. Not a single person even acknowledged us (myself my husband and my 3 year old) or could say "we'll be with you soon". So incredibly rude. Finally just gave up and left. Will never go back.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way through town. The staff was very friendly, food was quick and delicious! There's a nice outdoor patio where we enjoyed our burritos and iced chais.

So where to begin.... We were told to pick a table and someone would be by to take our order... We sat, we waited, and waited. Three waitress looked at us and never acknowledged our group. I finally stopped one and she once again said that someone would be by.... No one ever came and we left without being served.

My mom and I waited a long time for just 2 sandwiches. After already being annoyed by the long wait both sandwiches were cold and they messed up the order. Only going to Sturbridge Coffeehouse from here on out. Would not recommend.

Delicious food, chill and updated cozy feel. Wallpaper is a step towards a more corporate feel but all the tables and stylings are more homey. We ordered the cornbeef hash skillet with sourdough toast, house coffee and hot tea with a muffin and chocolate avalanche. The skillet was a good portion, filling but not so much that you feel you will need to be rolled out of here. My 2 sticking points are the potatoes were a bit big, I was trying to curate a balanced bit with the meat/sauce/potato and i felt the need to cut each potato. Second is the sauce has a good taste but didn't look the most appetizing when dropped and was a tiny bit gritty. Maybe it needs to be cooked more or a different thickening agent to be used. The avalanche was a great balance between chocolate and pastry crust, i wished it was warmed if I was not taking it to go. Muffin was too sweet on its own but can be off-set by the slightly more bitter coffee. Overall, great value and updated approach to breakfast/brunch/cafe vibe and amazing music choices

Had a tea party bridal shower at the cafe in their courtyard yesterday. The setting was beautiful. The service was wonderful. The food was delicious. Dakota, the manager, was excellent to work with. She was very accommodating and made the event very special!

This is a tough review because I really wanted to love this place. Dropped in on a Tuesday and no breakfast..no kitchen...so I went with a latte and a peach muffin. The service was great but a cold muffin and an ok latte was not what I was looking for. Would try again but if you are looking for breakfast don't go on Monday or Tuesday.

What a find! On our way further north and needed a place to have lunch outdoors. A simple club sandwich was really fresh and delicious! Spotless, friendly, really good food. Such a lovely place to sit outside with comfortable tables and chairs and autumn ambiance. We had sandwiches and very delicious homemade chips. We were so sorry we didn't purchase any of the muffins or goodies. They looked fantastic, and we talked about how sorry we were for not getting some the whole weekend! Don't miss out. This is a really wonderful find, with good food, friendly owner, and very accommodating during these difficult times.
