My family stops and makes sure we take the longer way home every time we Travel so we could stop by and pick up the amazing Raisin cookies. We even called ahead to place an order for 5-10 dozen Raisin cookies and lots of other amazing baked goods. Looks like they my family will be taking a road trip in our near future. Thank you for all the wonderful years of delicious baked goods and much more. Our trips down south will no longer be the same. Do the raisin cookies do well if you freeze them and then defrost? My nephew is deployed currently and will be sad to hear you are closing. Good luck with all other adventures you and your family take.

To be fair as a local resident that gets asked numerous times about my take on the country cupboard. I would consider this to be below average food with above average prices. We eat here once in a great while because there are very few options in our area. However I would also note that the staff is always superb and the restaurant is clean. If you like to shop a bit after a meal this may be the place for you.

Being completely honest, the Friday buffet is average, most items were good, however the prime rib carving station is a negative 10, the carver a middle aged man had the personality of the dead meat he was cutting, i asked for a slice of medium pink when he sliced it, it was raw red, loads of fat and a chunk i wouldn't feed a wild starving dog, i asked him if the other large chunk had any medium on it and he said "nope", so I said, well i guess I don't get any prime rib tonight, he shrugged his shoulders. Now I'm not a complainer of food, but come on, $25 a person and a shoulder shrug, no more for us and hopefully the owners get this corrected , not recommended for Friday buffet, plenty of other food in the area

This was our first time eating here. We chose the unlimited buffet which had a nice selection of entrees, salad bar, soup and dessert. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. We did have a wait but it was very short. Afterwards we took a stroll through the gift shops, let's just say hope your pockets run deep. They have a beautiful array of things but too expensive for my liking. We definitely plan another trip but for dinner next time!!

The gift shops have some interesting items I have not elsewhere. Good place for some christmas gifts. The food was very good, the salad makings on buffet were great. Lots of choices and could get just soup, salad, bread, and dessert or you could get full buffet or order from menu. Great place to stop for a meal and stretch your legs before getting back on the road. Prices were very reasonable.
