Elizabeth's An American Bistro

The staff worked very well to help.me with my order. As my allergy was provided to them, I was offered only 2 options. I qent to pick up my order and was taken to the back area to wait. I thought since I was early, that I would order a beverage while I waited. However, no one offered me one and the staff barely noticed me. There was only one couple I the dining room, so I was perplexedbat why this happened. Don't think that I will be visiting again. Especially since they could not adjust their menu for someone with allergies.

It is a real gem in the middle of Pennsylvania. We stopped by to grab a food on the way from Watkins Glenn , New York back to Harrisburg. We were absolutely amazed by this place. Food is delicious!!! . Presentation of food is so beautiful. Service is top-notch. Atmosphere is amazing. We even had a live music seated outside. Inside is beautiful. It is a real gem !!! . I would even like to come back just for the special event to this place even though it’s one hour plus drive from Harrisburg.! Good job guys. Keep it up.

food is great and personal was friendly but overwhelmed. They squeeze in way to many guests into the place for what the kitchen/room can support. This has consistently (3 times) now resulted in wait times for food of over an hour. Getting drinks also took 20+ minutes. I might give it another chance for lunch but we'll never come back for dinner.

We've been several times. Good atmosphere. Most recently enjoyed the Calamari appetizer, Salmon entree, and a Panini entree. We enjoyed everything, equally.

Very slow service

We had a lovely evening with Julia as our phenomenal server! She was everything and more in terms of her warmth, knowledge, kindness and humor. Ask to be seated in her section!

The tuna and trout were both wonderfully prepared. The salads were sooo fresh and the chocolate cake was sinful!

Elegant dining, thorough service, charming location. Lamb, trout, and other entrees were top notch. Wide list of wines & cocktail selections. Recommend!

My partner and I had dinner to celebrate our five year anniversary and Elizabeth’s did not disappoint! The lamb was incredible. My partner had the trout and loved it. We would absolutely celebrate here again. The wait staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was romantic and clean. 10/10 all around!

After eating in the restaurant many times over the years, I chose Elizabeth’s to cater my wedding this fall. The whole process was absolutely wonderful. Liz and Kate were very organized, taking note of every detail. Liz planned the most perfect, personalized menu based on our preferences. We chose to have a buffet-style dinner. The presentation of the food was an absolute work of art. Every single thing was absolutely delicious. Liz even brought some decor that perfectly aligned with our vision to decorate the buffet line! We also chose Elizabeth’s for our desserts and bar tending services. We had several different dessert options, each one so unique and delicious. The bar tender was extremely friendly and made amazing drinks. I can’t recommend Elizabeth’s enough. Every bride local to the Lewisburg area should be looking at Elizabeth’s for their catering needs. I highly recommend!!

We greatly enjoyed lunch today. Billy was a very personable and professional server. The food was outstanding. The food was seasoned well with flavors that worked together… perfectly executed. Food took a little longer than typical but we were highly content with our cocktails and service. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back again.

THE gem of Lewisburg!. I live in St. Augustine, FL and Elizabeth’s served the best Crab Cake I’ve ever had! The flavors remind me of the cuisine in certain regions of rural France and Europe. The staff is personable and kind as well. Do not pass up the opportunity to eat here!

We had such a great time at Elizabeth's during parent's weekend. We were lucky enough to get Friday and Saturday night reservations. Both nights were incredible. The staff was busy but on point. And the food did not disappoint. I had the pasta on Friday and then the hen on Saturday, and both were out of this world. Our third year in a row and they crushed it again! We had so much fun. what a great vibe. Thanks to the staff! See you at graduation!

Awesome place with a very upscale food/casual feel. Amazing wine selections and atmosphere. Service was a little slow, but they were training. Food came out wonderful, except a portion of my wife's lamb was overcooked but was promptly replaced with a properly temped piece.
Would recommend it, but it is pricier than most places in the area. The best compliment I can give is there were so many great looking options on the menu that I'll have to come back to try them!
