So I stopped at this like bar because I was staying in town for work and it was the closest place open late enough for me to grab a quick bite to eat. I ended up showing up on trivia night and the waitress informed me they were busy and a little short staffed, which is no big deal, I get it. All the staff where so kind and got me a table washed up pretty quickly. The food... was amazing! After a four hour drive its honestly what I needed. I ordered the bangers and mash and it was seasoned perfectly and I'm usually one to order something safe like chicken and be done with it. Glad the server recommended it!! Thank you for a great, speedy and polite experience. Absolutely will go back if I'm in town again!

Always has great wings and decent prices. Service can be slow, at times. But, I realize it’s difficult to hire enough staff right now. So, this won’t take away from my rating of 5-stars
Awesome staff & waitresses were wonderful, very friendly staff. Food was awesome worth money. I am traveling this week for my job. I will again when I am in the area

I gave Rooney’s 2 stars because of our experience from years prior when the owners were actively involved. Previously the restaurant was great! We enjoyed visiting trivia nights, special occasions and just hanging out. We enjoyed talking with the owners and always hearing about the family story behind their name of the restaurant and little fun facts about odds and ends. Did you know Mayo can remove water stains on wooden tables?February 2021 however, is a completely different story. We showed up, the place was EMPTY. Not one customer at a table. They stated they didn’t have any availability for a party of 6 because they had reservations in 45 minutes. I was astonished. Not one person in the front or back of the restaurant. I even checked the hours to make sure they were actually open at 5pm on a Saturday.I know years past they had management problems. I assume even with the new manager, they’re still having problems. So sad.

Enjoyed 1st trip there. Food and atmosphere were both very good. Service was also very good.
