The meat is bad 90% of the time. They dont wash there hands and cross contamination happens all over. Salmonella and ecoli are all over. An ac that leaks on to places they cook. Walk in cooler leaks on food thats being stored. They smoke and vape all around the food and over top of it. Smoke weed as well in the back around all of it. They will sell things past expiration and best by dates to make a profit. Staff is rude and uncaring. Unless your a regular dont bother. Bull run is definitely the better place for food and ambience. If you want to get sick and treated bad come to the town tavern.

Welcoming staff and warm, enjoyable atmosphere. Booths, tables, high tops, bar and a couple of tables with window seating. For a small-town tavern, we didn’t expect much, but were super impressed. Food better than expected. Burgers meaty, variety of toppings and definitely try the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing!

Excellent food. Busy and active upstairs with games on TV, but downstairs was a very nice quiet place to eat and have discussion without yelling across the table. Best of both worlds. Excellent service. A new favorite the next time I’m in Lewiston!
Not the best experience. Very slow for food and drinks. Fries were good but the main entree was overcooked. Appetizer was acceptable. Definitely would not recommend unless you are just going for the beer.
We enjoyed being able to sit outside, but we weren’t even greeted by our server (Andrea) for about 15 mins. We weren’t in a rush, so it was ok. I greeted her warmly and she just seemed pissed off and annoyed from the very first interaction. She would almost throw items on the table and would barely make eye contact. I tried asking a few questions and she extremely short and couldn’t be bothered. Once our order finally came we noticed that she had not put our order in correctly, but we didn’t bother to say anything. When she dropped off the check my fiancé tried to speak to her and she became extremely snarky, got somewhat loud and had a massive attitude. I told him to just forget about it. While there, we watched two other tables (one of 4 and one two top) get up and leave because she just kept walking past them. To summarize, our experience was horrible. The service sucked, and our waitress was downright miserable.

We loved this place. Countless options for beer and other alcoholic beverages. Great music. Great atmosphere. Everything we ordered for food was outstanding. The burgers here are fantastic. The tavern platter is highly recommended. The wings are crispy and decent sized. This is definitely not your typical bar food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We shall return.

Employees must NOT wash hands. There's no soap in the men's bathroom. I asked the manager who wasn't doing anything to refill it. He said ask the bartender who was extremely busy. How can the employees wash their hands if there's no soap? The soap despenser is still empty

Our first time here and after a rocky start, and both my daughter-in-law and I sending our food back, it turned out amazing! We sat in the cute little front window seat, and were waited on promptly. Got fried pickles (spears) as an appetizer. I ordered a chicken cheese steak and I forget what she ordered, but her's was so wrong and mine was burned. The server was so nice and explained they were training a new cook. After the regular cook stepped in and fixed our food, it was excellent! Will definitely try again!

I ordered the pork chops with baked potato. The chops were one of the best I've had, the baked potato was fantastic, fresh and creamy, wow! The sweet potato fries, were the best I've tasted!
