Nice small local barbecue joint. Food was very good, but portions weren't terribly big. Got a burger, fries and drink. I spent 16 bucks and was hungry for more.

I've been here 3 times now and this is the best barbecue I have had in Pennsylvania. It's good and I'm from Alabama and I know good barbecue. The French fries are good. So is the cole slaw though just a little too creamy. The service is friendly and quick. It's a simple place just like a good barbecue place should be.

Our family gets takeout from Danny's and it's the cheapest place locally for our fam of four to eat and, in the end, EVERYONE is happy!That doesn't happen often.The pulled pork is THE BEST!The smoked mac n cheese... Omw! Danny could offer his mac n' cheese as the ONLY item on the menu, he'd still make out!We absolutely LOVE Danny's!

My wife and I were in the area and saw this was "top rated" on Google maps so we decided to give it a try. We got here around 1 pm and there was no other customers. So our order came out quickly and the girl that took our order was nice. She checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything.My wife and I both got the bourbon bbq burger. The burger was overcooked and dry. The bbq sauce was descent. I tried the baked beans, the sauce was thin and watery. There wasn't much to them. They could have used some smokeyness or some bacon. We also tried the coleslaw, which didn't really have any flavor. It was super creamy but lacked seasoning.

Was visiting Pa decided to stop by , the food was fresh . Homestyle place very welcoming . Love their homemade lemonade !!!
It was so good. We spent about $50 for 6 people, and we left with plenty leftovers and full bellys. 10/10, will definitely come by again. The service was wonderful, the food amazing and everything was clean. You could smell the food before you even got out of your car.
Some of the best BBQ my husband and I ever had. The server was very helpful in helping us order as it was our first time there. Very clean and nice.

Nothing like a simple bbq joint that has amazing food that reminds me of my home in Kansas City! Brisket sandwich was juicy, bursting with flavor and complemented my creamy coleslaw! Good price and even better food! Will come again every time I need to take the train in Lewistown!

This small and impeccably clean BBQ spot is definitely worth your time. The BBQ is excellent. Ribs were fall off the bone inviting, the brisket's perfectly charred exterior provided a moist and tender interior and the pulled pork was equally moist and fork tender. Sauces served on the side, I hardly dipped my fork in it, preferring the meat's flavor over sauce. We ordered at the counter, told the owner we'd never visited and received a warm welcome with the recommendation to try the three meat sampler. We were NOT disappointed. Yummy.
