Bad food, horrible service, and a bleak atmosphere. It's laughably overpriced for the quality and quantity you actually get. This place feels like it hasn't changed in the last 30-40 years in all the worst ways. How this place is still open is beyond me.

I have tried several things on the menu. Burgers sucked, Chicken tenders suck, soup sucks, salad bar is meh, but the steak, fries and onion rings were really good though.

It's been a long time since I've visited Hoss's Steak, but my visit there was not only Pleasant beautiful and very tasteful but it happened to be on my birthday as well and no one knew about it until I said so so above all my visit that day at Hoss's Steakhouse was above all excellent thank you I look forward to visiting Hoss's Steakhouse more frequently

This was a family get together with 1 couple from Florida, 1 couple from Tyrone, and 3 couples from Altoona/Hollidaysburg area. The atmosphere was very family friendly. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Prices were very reasonable. We would definitely do this again.

I ate here a few times while in town for dinner. I only got the salad bar, but it was very good. They have a lot of selections to choose from. The ham and bean soup was perfect.

Slow service, forgot a side of mushrooms and they finally arrived after the meal was almost completely eaten. Nice salad bar, only had cinnamon bread and garlic toast on it, no fresh bread.
