Just discovered Russell's bbq this week. Will be going back. Great variety of sauces to use and purchase. A sauce for all tastes. The brisket was tender and the pulled pork was delicious. Makes sure to ask about their homemade and created Rambo sauce.
Wings that were out of this world. Enjoyed the ribs, pulled pork and coleslaw very much as well. Service was very nice and fast as well!

The food exceeded expectations—definitely a cut above the usual fare—and the overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Bottom line: I’ll be back the next time I’m in Northwest Pennsylvania.

The BBQ sauces are gluten free. They are also for sale. Prices are a little high compared to other private BBQ restaurants I've been too. They focus a lot on marketing their products and it's always busy despite the rural location.
I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich with potato salad. We also had fries, pulled pork sandwich and coleslaw. The chicken was so dry, the potato salad was terrible so was the coleslaw. My husband liked his pulled pork. The fries were really good. The best item I had was the watermelon iced tea. The service was good and the restaurant was nice with outdoor seating. Overall the food was really disappointing.
I must have been there on one of those rare days.
