Very small place out of hotel. Excellent food. Waitress promptly took our order which was perfectly cooked.tasted wonderful. Very attentive service. Good sized menu with decent prices. We got the 16 inch pizza. One of the best we ever ate
Spillway Inn is not there anymore it is Crooked Paddles. I miss Spillway Inn Menu and homemade dough. New place just ok regular bar food. I will say spinach salad with strawberries was good. But miss the old Spillway Inn probably won't go back sorry
No longer the Spillway Inn ... new management ... now it's the Crooked Paddle . We ordered bread sticks and shrimp from the appetizer section and wings. Every thing was SO good! Also, the employees were always smiling - happy to be there. Great service too. Highly recommend!
New owners, new name - The Crooked Paddle - shortened menu. Food was good; service was a bit slow, but bar was busy. Will be returning!
Giant carp eat all the bread you can throw at them. Buy stale bread there at a reduced price. Kids love it! We take 1st time visitors there and it is always a hit. These fish weigh 30 to 50 pounds.
The Spillway Inn is now called The Crooked Paddle and is under new ownership.
It's now Crooked Paddle Bar and Grill I think. Ownership changed over the fall and winter. Much smaller menu, little more upscale, no pastas or heavier baked dishes anymore. At least for the lunchtime menu... didn't ask if they had separate dinner menu. Pizza options are still there, small, but you can customize. Another pizza place in town burned down so it's an option. Calamari was ok...lots of breading...mayo based sauce was kind of boring. Wings were smallish, not breaded or very little coating. We like wings this way but a little larger would be nice. They don't have the 50+ flavors for the wings like the previous ownership had. Miss the maple flavor combos. I think they had maybe 15 to 20 flavors. They updated the bar with rustic high tops, removing the booths on kitchen side, dining room is still there. Didn't see if they renovated anything in there. New paint, all familiar rustic decorations they had are gone save one taxidermied goose... still someplace we will make our runs to but we will miss the old place!
Now the crooked paddle and the food is priced reasonably and very well cooked. The beef roast sandwich was fantastic! The crab dip is A huge hit too. Beer fries were loved.
Very nice and updated place (needed a modern woman's touch) which was long overdue! Seem to be doing all the right things. The ultimate food test is wings and they have the best I've had in many years! Huge, crispy without being greasy and delish. Calamari needs a makeover but the pizza more than made up for that!! Having a friendly owner who cares is always helpful (should be standard) but mostly rare and one willing to listen to a customer's critique with a pretty smile in return is even more rare. Can't wait to return and see how things are going here...good luck y'all!!
Very expensive. $10.99 for a cheeseburger and homemade chips. Atmosphere? Old, diner-style main room; bar in entrance. The burger was delicious, but way overpriced.

Great food, great atmosphere, really enjoyable people, friendly hostess! Saw friends and the cheesecake is great!
came up for anniversary weekend and our favorite stop is Spillway Inn. highly recommended.
We stopped in for the Steelers game on Sunday and had great wings and pizza. Will definitely be back for more. 5 out of 5
Excellent and fast service. Great wings 52 sauces......spillway sauce is awesome.
Seated in dining room and noticed it's very loud. People with children do not hush them and treat the restaurant like it's their own party room. Staff was nice but our order of a burger, salad and small “thin†deluxe pizza took over 20 minutes. The “thin†crust had oodles of toppings but they failed to drain the toppings before baking so there was a puddle of juices in the center of the pizza pan. The crust on the bottom wasn't fully cooked and mushy. Not edible. I asked if this was the thin crust as it appeared thick and was told this is the thin crust. We were not offered drink refills. People leaving, stand around your table talking loud without any consideration for your table and stare at your food. It's very odd..... I haven't been here in years and I'm not impressed. More than likely won't return.
