My dad and I have been coming here for years and absolutely LOVE everything Monique has to offer - our favorites are the mushroom and shallots poptart, spinach and sausage pastry (melt-in-your-mouth good), and anything savory. She is also such a joy every time we see her. Going to Monique's is always the highlight of my trips home!

We picked up a few bakery items for a sick friend and grabbed a 'day old' piece of almond coffee cake. It was absolutely delicious. I can't imagine it would be any different on the prior day. It was so moist and very tasty. When we are in town next time I want to get the whole cake !!

Love this bakery but very confused on the milk bottle return. I thought turning your bottle in was supposed to be an incentive to buy & to bring the glass bottles back by getting a $2 deposit when you returned it? I did not get a deposit back or any money off my purchase. Not right to advertise you get it back if that’s not actually what happens?

Just moved to the area and stopped in here on a whim. My god. I've been on a mission to try everything and it has been phenomenal. The staff was super helpful and nice. There were so many goodies to choose from. We got 2 egg and sausage(I believe they were called muffelettas) and a sticky bun and a slice of spiced cake with cream cheese frosting. Everything was delicious! We had the berry cream cheese bar before too and it was scrumptious! Everything is perfectly sweet. For those who want baked goods that aren't overly sweet this is the place for you!

Heavenly Sticky Buns! Wow! Simply Wow! I haven’t eaten a sticky bun in over a decade. I simply would opt other breakfast fare such as croissants, Belgium Waffles, scones. I was told the Sticky Buns here are one of the best sellers so decided to see what the dude was about. LOL WOW!!! This is the only Sticky Bun I’ve ever been impressed by and will now purchase them for my co-workers and associates to delight in the quality/perfection simply to see their smile. She must be caramelizing the sugar on these?! The quality was impeccable! I’m beyond impressed. The nuts…were glazed by the sugar also. Wow! This was simply Sticky Bun Heaven. I also today tried a Peach Yogurt drink which was superb in taste. This is a MUST STOP SPOT if you are headed to Gettysburg, Westminster or Frederick.
My gal pal took me here today for the first time and I must say 10 out of 10! Delicious!

What a delightful bakery this is! Gorgeous location and interior, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the baked goods are simply works of art. I like that the flavors are nuanced, everything is the right moisture level, not too sweet, and quite the variety of items to choose from. Today, I got pineapple cake and a berry tartlet with an herbal iced tea and everything was superb. 10/10 will come again! As a person with a strong sweet tooth, I’ve tried a lot of bakeries, but this one is simply the best.

We have been fans of Monique for a long time and ashamed to admit, but I just visited her new location this morning for the first time. I was totally blown away! It is magnificent! Absolutely gorgeous! Then, there's the phenomenal selection of delicious pastries that never seems to end! I chose some to share with coworkers and we agreed: BEST Brownie EVER! The raspberry pinwheels are awesome. The lemon ricotta pastry was beyond to die for! I could go on, but you get the message. Gateau Monique is a must stop on your trip to Littlestown. I'm already planning my next visit, which should be tomorrow morning! Thank you, Monique and Congratulations on this beautiful establishment, so very close to home! Much continued success!
