Went here for the first time in several years. Food was amazing! My wife had the penne pasta with olive oil and garlic and it was absolutely delicious. I had crab cakes with baked potato and french onion soup. The crab cakes were the best I have ever had. The baked potato was cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was to die for! Our daughter raved about the panko shrimp also. Others in the group that went with us all said the same thing the food was amazing. They even had a flatbread pagach because it was a Friday in Lent. Highly recommend this place. If you haven't been there in several months or longer by all means give them another shot because they are fantastic!

We went there with a large group of friends who wer6in town for our 50th college reunion and the staff and owner stayed late to accommodate us. They were fabulous and the food was excellent.
Having been there for years and decided to go there tonight. The place was not crowded but I was asked if I had reservations. They were three of us. I ordered chicken cacciatore with chicken Pastina soup and my husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs. My son ordered chicken Parmesan, and mozzarella sticks which they were out of. My soup came out and it was horrible. I took one spoonful and it was lukewarm and full of salt. I asked the waitress to take it back and asked them to taste their soup. My chicken cacciatore came out and it was horrible. It was supposed to have marinara sauce in peppers and onions, and mushrooms and the tomato sauce was lumpy, and it had carrots in it. My husband, spaghetti and meatballs was also terrible with the same sauce. Three was no way this sauce was homemade. The entrées weren't even hot. The Chicken Parmesan didn't even look appetizing. I will not return. It was the worst meal I've had in a long, long time. The waitress was nice!

Really good Italian food. I had the eggplant parmesian which was layered like a lasagna. It was delicious! Really nice sauce/gravy. The eggplant was thin and tasty. Good job!

It has been at least 20 years since I have been here. The reason for dining here at this time was that they had Sausage Calabrese on the menu. (So we thought). The place is as it was. No problem. So, we start with a cocktails of old fashions, no oranges. They did go to grocery to get one. Apps. Traditional clams, nope,they only do crab stuffed. Ok. Sausage Calabrese. Nope. However,they had Sausage as an add on for the pasta.. What? The online menu is different from actual menu. The restaurant was THE place to go fornItal8an. I understand changes. That said. Re-do the menu so it depicts what is in the kitchen . No excuses. Nothing is worse than going to a restaurant for a specific dish and told from the get go we don't have it. The soup(cappelletti) was said to taste like bouillon. If we choose to return, we will call ahead. It can still be a competitive dining restaurant. If they want to be.

Food was good but the salad was awful. You get all lettuce, 2 tomatoes, 1 cucumber and nothing else on the salad. Was disappointed. Not sure if we would go there again but if we did we will never get a salad. But I do perfer salads at times. My boyfriend can make a better salad then what we had there.
