“Where do I begin with my recommendation? I have been a regular at this unique restaurant for many years. I was especially grateful that the outside pickup was available during Covid. My favorite sandwich is the Nicole and I also love that there are 3 different soups available each day. The ricotta cookies(regular) and the pumpkin ricotta cookies are excellent! Snickerdoodles are to die for! The selection of several types of bread is wonderful. Also the availability of ordering pies, cookies & other food for parties and holidays is great. Colleen, Joe and Emily go above and beyond in making their customers feel welcome. Something Special is an awesome place to meet with your friends. “I got my usual Sunday morning takeout shortly after 10am on 9/14. I could tell as soon as I looked at my meal that it was skillfully prepared by someone who cared. I had the Eggs Benedict from the senior menu, and it was done to perfection. I enjoyed every bite. Kudos to the chef on duty. I appreciate and acknowledge your effort. “Recently visited the Royal Bake Shop , as I used to live in Exeter and was in town from FL for a wedding. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and informative. “Very nice local option for your bakery needs! I had ordered my wedding cake from Imelda and she was very friendly and the cake was exactly what I wanted! Instead of freezing a piece of the original I asked for a mini version of the wedding cake for my husband and I’s anniversary which was well priced and tasted exactly the same.“

“I saw a lady really going at this worker. She was verbally abusing the employee. I have never had a problem with the employees at this location. They have always been extremely friendly and helpful. We all have off days, and there is no excuse to lash out at other people like this woman. I was behind her when everything happened and I saw a review from earlier, and I was the one that walked away because I was extremely uncomfortable with the confrontation that this woman caused. Again, I hope for the best for this employee.“
