The Main Bean is truly my favorite coffee shop around! Their iced raspberry vanilla latte is dangerously good — if I could drink it all day without turning into the Road Runner, I would (meep meep!). The atmosphere is always warm and cozy, the staff is genuinely kind, and the whole place just feels like a little community hub. Their coffees, lattes, teas, and breakfast sandwiches are consistently top-notch. Honestly, I could write a whole book about how special The Main Bean is.

A while back I was trying to find some local coffee beans to get for my husband as a gift, and The Main Bean kept popping up on Reddit and Facebook. They don’t actually sell their beans, but we decided to stop in anyway and we’ve been hooked ever since.
The vibe is great, and we love that they do table service. The owners are always super friendly and make you feel right at home. The food and coffee are always amazing, too. We love coming on the weekends with some board games, grabbing breakfast, and just hanging out for a while.

I absolutely love The Main Bean! Their chai tea is my go-to, perfectly spiced and always delicious. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and Jess and Kierstin make every visit even better. They’re always so kind and welcoming!

Okay service and it's probably not somewhere I'd hang out or do work, but the everything bagel and almond joy latte was good!
Pretty reasonable prices ($8 for a latte and a bagel), so I'd like to try some other stuff. Feels like a grab and go spot versus a social spot, but definitely quick, inexpensive, and solid coffee

This place is super cute and they have wifi. Employees were very nice and attentive.
My latte was an average price, and it tasted really good. I like the coffee ice cubes, more places should do that! They had so many seasonal flavors, too..
They had individually packed muffins in the display case, but behind the counter you could see the 6 packs of croissants and muffins from the grocery store.. That was pretty disappointing.. I wouldnt have gotten one if I wouldve seen they were just store bought ones beforehand. Thats the only reason for the 4 stars.

I really love the vibe here, with couches and a lounging area. Ordered “The Beast” and a London Fog and they were absolutely delicious. Out of all this Cafes I’ve been to this one is easily one of my favorites. ❤️

Stopped in to The Main Bean in Luzerne and grabbed a quick sandwich. Cute little spot and the women working were super friendly. They had a menu item that intrigued me (The Beast) but I didn’t feel like I could handle something that big this morning (plus I hear there may be a surprise bite or two in store on the podcast) so I went with a bacon, egg, and cheese on a Kaiser roll and I added a hash brown on it.
The roll is softer than I’m used to but it tasted good. Had a whole wheat or grain type of flavor to it. The woman inside said the bakery they are from but my brain is a place of utter chaos so I forgot already. Egg and bacon were cooked well, I enjoyed the sandwich well enough. I would say as a personal preference I would like the hash brown cooked slightly more and the roll toasted hard, but not everyone likes what I like.
$5.80 for the sandwich with the hash brown added. Solid price for this, I’d absolutely get this again (even though next time I think it’s me vs. The Beast). Main Bean in Luzerne - Didn’t Suck!
