We have been coming here for the past two years or so for dinner, and to enjoy the beautiful views in the different seasons.
The service has always been very, very good. Yesterday we had a server named Kylie, and she could not have been any sweeter. She was excellent.
However, the menu has changed, and I have mixed feelings about that. It’s very limited options, but the prices did come down a lot. I was so very disappointed as I was looking forward to the pecan maple glaze salmon which is no longer an option.
We ordered the jerk chicken and the shrimp and grits. Very unique dishes. The shrimp and grits was a little spicy for me, but it was really good.
We never usually order dessert, but decided to this time. We got a teeny, tiny piece of Key Lime pie, which was not chilled and it was eight dollars. Very over priced in fact, we should’ve just sent it back..
I did not get a cocktail because the one I want it was $15!!!!
Plus, it was a warm day out, but I usually love their cocktails, but I would not spend that. So I think due to the menu changes I will not be coming back to soon.

Love the fireplaces. Magical experience.

The Grille is temporarily closed and they didn't tell us til we arrived. They're trying to make do with tables in a different cafe which is ok but not as upscale as we expected. Limited food selection. Couldn't cook meat to our preference.

The Grille at Bear Creek was amazing! My boyfriend & I's first experience was one to remember! We loved the food and are still talking about it.

Brielle was a great waitress and super helpful with recommendations. The food was great and so were the drinks. The front desk hostess is very shy. Tell her she doesn't need to because we were there all weekend and she does a great job

Overpriced food and drinks.
My wife and I went here for Valentine's dinner. After slowly making it through the waiting line, we were seated seemingly right on top of another diner in an almost empty room.
We ordered a salmon dish, a short rib dish, and mushroom soup. Nothing spectacular here. The short rib was basically pot roast. The gnocchi was in some weird tasting sauce. The salmon dish wasn't terrible but didn't match the price. The big disappointment here was the twice baked potato I ordered as a side. For $8, I expected something spectacular. Instead, it was no taste mash potato on half of a potato.
The best part of the meal was probably the mushroom soup.
The cocktails ordered were $15 each. Nothing exceptional but once again overpriced.
The total bill for 2 was $120+. 2 dinners and 2 cocktails. There was no wow factor and nothing really special being it was a Valentine's dinner. Will not be having dinner here again.

Everything about this place makes me want to dine here again. Service was excellent and bubbly, food was extremely tasty, and the view of the mountain kept making me turn my head.

Expensive for what you actually get for a meal on your plate , portions were small on steak flight

Please bring sweat potato fries. Each year is getting more expensive, but food options not getting better.

Last night was disappointing in several ways. 1) Bar beverages took forever, like 15 - 20 minutes. 2) Food was mediocre, potatoes (both twice baked and mashed) were lukewarm when served. 3) Staff was stretched so no opportunity to provide feedback. 4) Bill before tip was $130 for 2. Our expectation wasn't that high because it's a ski resort and busy on a Saturday night. But geez...

This spot is incredible! Service from all the staff members is exactly what any owner or manager would want being portrayed. Different bartenders displayed knowledge of different items on the menu and engaged with customers pertaining to various different topics specifically sports. I ordered a few items which were all brought out at the perfect time. We also had a server, who went above and beyond her job roles to make sure our experience was worth the while. Thank you so much for the perfect ending to an adventurous day!

Fantastic evening at The Grille at Bear Creek Mountain Resort, Doe Mountain Lane, Macungie, PA! Quick decision to make reservations and couldn't have been more pleased. From the hostess who scheduled are seating time and table, to the incredible service by our server, Kim (who has the most darling personality) to our delicious meals, (prime rib and crab legs special priced fantastically well) to the beautiful atmosphere, we had a glorious time! Kudos to all at Bear Creek that give the best service allowing one to experience a complete escape from our busy schedules. And, don't leave without trying that incredible onion soup! We'll be back for sure! Lainie & Nika Belcastro

sometimes dinner is fresh and great, other times it seems a little “leftover”.. hard to explain.. the same dishes taste and look fresher or different night to night. price has gotten a bit steep, but it’s a quick and easy spot for us to go sit at the bar and have an 80/20 chance of the food being good. the two main bartenders are both super attentive and fun to chat with, so even if the food is disappointing every so often, it’s always a nice time sitting at the bar. on a good night, my favorite dish is the duck fried rice or the french onion soup!

Extremely disappointed with the quality of food. Brought my family of 5 here for Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey was salty and tasted processed. The stuffing was bland. For the price of 60 per person it was not worth it . Plus they charged 20% gratuity when the server just brought drinks and we had to get up and served ourselves. They put us in a booth and we all had to get up when one person wanted to get food.

As always, the grill is a lovely place to have a meal with friends. The the menu has changed over time. It's still was very good and decent value for your money. Our server was positive and professional. We very much enjoyed our visit and will return soon.
