Good food an good service
The waitresses are really friendly and the food is very good
Great family place.
We got charged (twice) incorrectly for a coffee drink - instead of getting charged for iced coffee with a refill we got charged for 2 iced lattes. When we calmly tried to rectify the orders listed on the itemized receipt, we got met with hostility, head shakes, and eye rolls by the owner. To make matters worse, they removed the charges and ended up putting the incorrect charges for iced lattes back ON after a staff argument broke out in the kitchen. They used the excuse that instead of receiving the iced coffees we ordered, we received cold brews. HUH??? Now we’re talking about 2 different coffee drinks that we never ordered. It sounds like the owners and staff could use some reeducation about what they offer on their menu… and maybe some reeducation on how to provide better customer service. We paid the incorrect charges and just left. What an uncomfortable situation. Will not be returning.
The food is good for the price—definitely more affordable than diners in other cities. However, the service and management need serious improvement.
Our table ordered coffees. I asked if I could have mine iced, and the waitress said yes. She brought out hot coffees for the others and an iced coffee for me. Later, midway through the meal, she came around offering refills. Since the menu says coffee refills are free, we all said yes—including me, even though my drink was only half full. She topped it off without any issues.
When the bill came, I noticed I was charged for two lattes, which are about four times the price of a regular coffee. We waited for the waitress to come back so we could clear up the mistake, but she never returned. I took the bill to the front to sort it out.
They asked if my drink had whipped cream or anything special—I said no. The cashier couldn’t remove the charge herself and had to call the waitress from the back. During this, a woman I assume is the owner stood nearby with a visibly judgmental expression, clearly annoyed. There was some kind of argument going on in the kitchen, and the whole interaction became tense.
Eventually, the person checking me out seemed to cave and added the charge back to the bill, saying I was actually served a cold brew, which is more expensive than regular coffee. I agreed cold brew is pricier—but I never asked for cold brew. I asked for iced coffee. It’s summer; iced coffee is not a weird request.
At this point, the whole situation became more about attitude than money. The meal was around $39 for two people—still a great price—but the way the staff and management handled a simple mistake over $9 left a bad impression.
Side note: I’m Chinese, and the rest of my group is visibly made up of people of color—curly hair, darker skin, you get the idea. I can’t say for sure if that played a part in how we were treated, but the vibe was definitely off. If you’re a minority, you might wanna think twice and go somewhere that actually feels welcoming.
Lastly, their Beef Au Jus could really use salt. Honestly, Arby’s does it better.
Gentleman brought his dog into the diner this morning and nothing was said to him. Not very sanitary
The people who own this do not follow food safety standards. They buy reduced out of date food and sell out of date products. They also have several illegal workers and pay under the table. Horrible horrible experience.
Great place to eat
The best part of my experience was the people. Very homey, friendly. The waitress was very positive and joyful. The food was what you would expect from your average diner. The atmosphere was worth it.
This family feeling dinner had very good food and poor service. The portions large. Biggest freanch toast I ever saw! My breakfast sandwich with sausage was huge and the sausage was delicious! Servers were under staffed. Pancakes were very good. The latte was good

This place makes really good breakfast. If you’re thinking about getting breakfast on your way to work and have some time on your hands I highly recommend this place. I am a big fan of eggs Benedict when I go out for breakfast and this diner does them quite well. The hashbrowns are good, I recommend you get them when they have them. Also the coffee was not too bitter, a bit of cream and it was nice and smooth.
