Absolutely delicious! We had the salmon and escallop of chicken — both were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The creme brulee was amazing.

The food was absolutely delicious. The service was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Definitely worth the price (we spent about $30–50 per person). Highly recommended!

I love this place for many years

Nestled in the heart of Malvern, Pennsylvania, Bunha Faun Restaurant has been delighting patrons since 1991 with its exquisite fusion of French and Asian cuisines. This BYOB establishment offers a cozy, elegant dining experience, complete with fresh flowers and attentive service.

The menu features a harmonious blend of flavors, with standout dishes such as the rack of lamb baked with herbs and mustard sauce, and the black angel hair pasta sautéed with crabmeat in a champagne cream sauce. Appetizers like escargot baked in garlic butter and oriental noodles topped with chicken and vegetables showcase the restaurant’s diverse culinary influences.

Guests consistently praise Bunha Faun for its flavorful dishes and perfectly cooked meals. The ambiance is enhanced by candlelight, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The gracious waitstaff ensures that diners never feel rushed, allowing for a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Given its popularity and intimate setting, it’s recommended to reserve your table at least a week in advance. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a memorable meal, Bunha Faun promises a delightful culinary journey that will leave a lasting impression.

We just celebrated the 60th birthday for my twin sisters at Bunha Faun. We had a party of 12. The food and service were amazing. Thanks Bunha Faun!

We went for dinner last night and had a wonderful time. The dining room was nice and elegant with little touches of real flowers and a rose folded napkin! Our server was nice and gave us great suggestions. I ordered the cream of mushroom soup and the shrimp and scallops and everything was absolutely fresh and delicious. Really flavorful and special. We will absolutely be coming back!

The atmosphere here was very cozy and the food was wonderful. I started with the cream of mushroom soup. This was one of the best i have ever eaten. Followed by a snow pea salad and finished with my entree of roasted duck served with green beans and scalloped potatoes. No room for dessert! Would definitely go back!

We are so happy Bunha Faun is back! Our friends and we were so excited to go back after their brief closure. Shrimp and Scallops with Champagne Sauce were delicious and done to Perfection. Filet Wrapped in Bacon was both tender and succulent. Our Sauteed Oysters were amazingly great as usual! We love this place aside from the impeccable food, the wait staff is always gracious and never rushes you through your meal! I also love eating by Candlelight! Welcome Back Bunha Faun..we missed you and can't wait to return!!!

THE DAY I WENT TO DINNER AND WAS TOLD OUR TABLE (AND PERHAPS OTHERS) were test subjects!Bad start under new owners!I went there for the first time in a long Time for my wife’s birthday with friends. In the past it was always difficult to get a last minute reservation. I learned that it had recently been reopened, after being closed for a while and was under new ownership.Apparently they had the same chef which reassuring. The restaurant was far from full so expected kitchen wasn’t overwhelmed and food would come out in a fairly timely manner.90 minutes later our main courses arrived. AT about 45 minutes I started asking how our meal was coming along, Every time I asked my waitress, she said it was coming. At about 1 hour I finally got the real scoop!Apparently the chef was teaching the new owner how to prepare the various dishes on the menu. The food overall was good, veal chop, Rack of lamb, filet and duck. The sides were puny and the string beans weren’t the best quality for a “French” restaurant. When I complained to my waitress about the inexcusable wait, indicating we were very displeased and asked her to tell the owner in training, I assumed he would come out to at least apologize, he never showed! I got a Joe Biden?‍?….Waitress should have taken initiative and let us know what the delay was.As far as atmosphere, the last time we ate there it was noisy. This time it was quiet and they added table cloths. Ehhh?Better get it together or this restaurant will close again very soon!Bill for 4 was 200 plus tip.Not sure if I will give them a second chance!

We have been eating at Bhuna Faun for about 6 years. The food was excellent with original owners and it is just as good under the new management. The service is not the same. We had to wait for the wine to be opened, water glasses were never refilled. They forgot our bread. Under the previous ownership the wait staff looked professional. They wore black pants, black vest and white shirt. We were there last weekend and wait staff was wearing a tee shirt with cartoon characters and what looked like sweat pants.

We enjoyed a great dinner this evening. The dishes, especially the rack of lamb and the filet mignon were cooked just right. The server, Beau, smart and pleasant, delivered an impeccable service. As our group of 6 wanted to share dishes, we had a number of extra requests and she accommodated all of them promptly. It was amazing to watch her meeting the needs of the other guests also seamlessly. Such professionalism and efficiency is so seldom seen nowadays. Bunha Faun is surely a hidden gem in Malvern and will remain my favorite restaurant.

While well hidden this place is an absolute gem. Everything we ordered from the escargot to the lamb shank was absolutely delicious. Compared to other restaurants in the area the price points were quite pleasing as well!
