Great place to grab to-go lunches for your picnic or day out! The boxes come with all the silverware and napkins you need and the food is packaged well. The egg salad sandwiches and the potato salad hit the spot on a warm day and each boxed meal comes with a deviled egg. They did forget to include some of the items in our group's boxes.

Definitely a good place and value. Very clean and foods good. Don’t go there if you want people to be nice to you. Staff seemed irritable and not happy customers were there.

Heaven in a basket! I believe the Yukon potatoes make this potato salad divine! The chicken salad is fresh and the bread may be made here. Not sure but boy is it yummy. Never seen cup cakes like this. They literally are shaped like they were baked at the bottom of a cup. Irish cream was just the right way to start my March. Quick service and the place is adorable.

Everything fresh and tasty. The people who run it are great. I get takeout so not that interested in the ambience, but it is okay.

I ordered the crab cake sandwich and pasta salad. This came out completely flavorless. It sincerely taste like bun and lettuce. I'm very disappointed in this order. The pasta salad taste like basil only. The cupcake chocolate on chocolate was old and the icing was very hardened. Not sure what happened lately but the quality has gone down badly! If I could give no stars I would. I never even wrote a review before but I had to say something. Please correct this for the sake of crab cake lovers like myself!

I have been eating here for two weeks and am tickled pink at how excellent the food tastes. Even better, the employees here are fantastic. Try a lunch box today, and you will be glad you did.

Dixie Picnic hands down, has THE BEST scratch made food I have EVER had IN MY LIFE! EVERYTHING is made in house, from scratch and is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I love their New England Clam Chowder, no matter how hot or cold the weather is outside! Their upcakes are sinfully delicious and I WILL be coming back in the future to try some more made from scratch food! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place if you are getting your driver's license renewed at the nearby DMV, or if you want to celebrate getting your permit or license.

I came in planning to order a chicken salad sandwich since it was recommended by several friends, but when I arrived and saw the hot sandwich options, I couldn’t resist ordering the Shrimp Po’boy. I am from New Orleans and had a hankering for a taste of home. It did not disappoint! The shrimp had been breaded in a well-seasoned batter, cooked to perfection, then drizzled with an authentic remoulade. It was served open faced atop fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and sliced pickles. Mmm.Although the bread was a little different than the typical french bread which is crunchy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside, this bread was soft and white all around with a little cornmeal on the bottom. The bread was honestly heavenly and I think anything you put on it would be delicious! I want to go back and see if they sell the poboy rolls individually for the next time I host a party and serve any sort of sandwiches.I would also love if they added an option to add extra shrimp to the sandwich for an extra charge because, really, they were so good you are gonna want more.Bon appettit! (Just make sure you come during the week and before 2pm because, if you show up on a weekend, like I did previously, you’ll be disappointed)Kid-friendliness: Although there isn’t a kid’s menu posted, you can order a kid’s lunch for a reduced price at the register. Although the restaurant is self-serve, the staff anticipated my two-year old’s need for a box as we were finishing and brought it to our table.

I tried the Georgia BBQ pulled pork on a whim, it wasn't bad but I wasn't really blown away by it.

Dixie Picnic is just a short distance from my office. Recently I've made it a once-a-week stop as I love the food so much. However, the good food component was slightly "ruined" today by the impatient, terse treatment of the person taking my order. I realize lunch times are busy and they're frantically getting to-go orders ready. But it's important to treat your customers with kindness. We're the reason you're in business.Vegetarian options: Would love more vegetarian options.
