Our dinner to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary was unbelievably over the top! From ease of making reservations, to our special requests, to our wonderful server INA (think I have it correct)-to the absolute delicious food. Couldn't have asked for a better celebratory evening. Ina even had the dessert plate decorated with Happy Anniversary! It was a beautiful evening from beginning to end!
Service was mediocre, food was very delayed, noise level was very challenging to have a quiet conversation. Three tables that were seated after us were first served drinks and served dinner after us?? OK? We waited quite a while for dinner.....
The service was a bit disappointing. Waiter did not know his menu although I believe he's been there a while. Our food was very good though.
Service was great. Our waitress was attentive but not bothersome. Food was excellent! Our room was busy but tables were set apart sufficiently.
The general Warren has had his ups and downs over the years. In the past, we've had some excellent meals, but unfortunately, this experience did not meet our expectations. We will probably give it another shot given our pest experiences.
It was our anniversary and we had a wonderful evening! Food was outstanding, well timed. Real candlelight. Quiet table as requested. Server perfect balance of attention. General Warren always delivers.
Music was a little too loud and annoying channel they had on. Service was ok but a little slow which was strange because they were not busy at all. Food was great as always.
Our first visit. Service was excellent - as was the Beef Wellington. Will definitely be back!
The sea bass special and the steak au poivre were cooked to perfection. Love their snapper soup. Tom our server was excellent ensuring a wonderful evening for us.
Limited menu in my opinion. Food was excellent. Request for different sides were no problem. It was my birthday and my desert came on a decorated plate with a candle.

Service and atmosphere cannot be beat for those who want a quiet, refined dining experience. The decor is very inviting. One party's meal was perfect; the other party's meal was overall fine, but the lamb steak was sinewy and hard to cut. Would dine there again in spite of this one drawback. Would rate 4.5--close to flawless.
Visit to General Warren for wedding anniversary. Hostess and our server was very helpful and friendly. Server offered to light fire and place by our outside table as the chill of evening progressed. Enjoyed drinks and appetizers which were all very good. Dinner entrees and desert were both delicious as well. The only hiccup was another party of four men were seated midway through our dinner a bit across the patio. While being seated at their table staff member (possibly manager) moved the fire table from our area over to within two feet of their table as well as a second fire from another adjacent area. Disappointing as it felt we were a bit invisible. Other than that it was a nice experience.
Very Historical
A classic restaurant.
Weird location. How can the neighbors deal with that? Overpriced. Women yelling in the parking lot.
