Brisket dinner plate was awesome. Very tender and smoked to perfection. Jimmy and I both loved the vinegar BBQ sauce. The corn salad and whipped sweet potatoes were excellent.

I keep hoping that Jimmy’s BBQ improves but my 5th and FINAL delivery order tonight was very disappointing. I ordered a half rack of ribs, spicy sausage sandwich and side of cole slaw. The ribs were utterly flavorless. No spice was anywhere to be found. No sauce on them whatsoever. Fat wasn’t rendered down enough IMHO as well. I ended up throwing out the Cole slaw after one bite. Tasted off, cabbage was beyond soggy and had a strange tang to it. The spicy sausage sandwich was very mediocre. I keep reading all of the rave reviews and I keep trying it over and over but get the same result. Best BBQ on the East Coast? Not in my top 100. I hope you re-examine your recipes, cooking methods and actually taste your food. Because right now, it’s unedible.

I honestly want to like this place more. I can tell the crew there puts their best foot forward but just always fall short. Beat was very dry and lacking flavor. Service was run of the mill, and the atmosphere was just so bland and outdated.

Everything was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients and was ready in less than 30 minutes. The restaurant is pretty basic inside but there’s outside tables in shade. I wasn’t crazy about the tip request.
Dietary restrictions: All meats and sauces are gluten free and made in-house!
Ordered a brisket sandwich, the 3-meat platter and some sides, super excited to come back here for some great bbq. Prices went up and quality took a NOSE DIVE. Pulled pork was inedible, was so dry we couldn’t even swallow it without a mouthful of water. Brisket was the same, tough and dry. Cornbread, mac and cheese, and collard greens were all terrible as well. We threw most of it away.
Thought maybe it was an off day, so gave the store a call to let them know so others didn’t get the same experience, they didn’t care at all. Looks like we’ll be finding a new bbq spot. What a shame, this place used to be so great.

I picked up at the confirmed time and everything was packaged and ready, one of the employees boxed the items and carried to my car for me! We enjoyed every bit of the food, this is our third time ordering a bigger order and it is always delicious! Thank you again.
