Great quick service.
I have been frequenting the diner for upwards of 10 years. It has grown increasingly more difficult to enjoy a meal here. My husband will still accompany me, but I will no longer bring my family. I just left from dining, today. I feel it is the time to finally speak my truth. What used to be a homey and comfortable place has turned into an unsavory experience. This is more often than not. I wasn't going to write a review, because I don't believe that it's something that necessitates the public reading. However, your website won't allow this much text. Again, I've given you my patronage for years. This is more of a constructive criticism, with the hopes that you can use it to your advantage to better the experience for the future of your patrons. The goal here isn't to nitpick or finger point. After all, I will continue to dine here. It is more so just to prove that these things do not go unnoticed. If they are not found to have some sort of problem solving measure, I know that others will share my sentiment. Personally, my meal averages $30. When I bring my husband, it is upwards of $50. Consumers pay good money for the experience of your bacon! While your food can be quite amazing, I think we can both agree that the staff can also make or break an establishment. I would never feel the need to write this after just one poor experience. Granted, some days are better than others. I found the need to pen this after several similar experiences in the recent past. I have taken notice that it is not a matter of any one day or another. It tends to be the same regardless of whether the business is lacking that day. I prefer not to point out any one singular person or persons, although it does seem to be the same faces. I assure you that I am not speaking alone when I say it seems customers are intruding on the employees' social hub. It is extremely unprofessional. You really should hold your staff accountable before words start spreading. For, instead of providing hospitality, there seems to be a greater need to socialize. At any given time, you can find employees sitting and talking in plain sight. You can see phone calls being made. You can witness boisterous conversations taking place. Foul language is used by who I know to be management. It seems to be a steady and uncomfortable chaos, and it is a rapid and obvious decline. It is difficult to keep an appetite while hearing this. I have also taken notice of an uptick in flies. As business owners, we have fallen on tough times. I know the difficulties, first hand, that come with finding good people. I have been personally handed a check just a couple of minutes after being handed a meal. The idea doesn't sit well with me. It would be nice to finish a meal, as opposed to the feeling of being rushed. There are times when customers want to eat quickly. There are times when there isn't a necessity to rush. No matter which customer is being served, they should never be pushed out the door. I am hoping, for all of the many who frequent The Classic Diner, you sincerely consider my words!
Not a fan. Flies everywhere. Food average. Walls need a bath.

We came here on a whim because I’m new to the area and this place was on my list of places to check out! There was absolutely no parking available and no lines in the parking lot. We had to wait about 15 minutes which was fine, it was busy. The menu was kinda pretentious-any add ons were a la carte (herbs on your egg sandwich were literally $1.25). The menu options were unique which were exciting, but once we got our food, it was extremely under seasoned. The potatoes were very flavorful and everything was fresh but just no flavor…. Our waiter did not check on us at all once giving us our food and only came back to give us the check. It was very noisy and crowded. Overall very underwhelming.

Haven’t been here in ages. Today we opted to try again over Nudy’s, but it was such a disappointment. We both ordered pancakes - they were doughy and dry. Our server was unfriendly, and not attentive. The bus staff cleaned tables as we were eating, and the cleaning spray was overwhelming. Anyway, the whole experience was just so disappointing. Sad to say this is definitely not the Classic Diner I remembered.

My 4th visit and the food is wonderful every time. We ordered 2 omelettes, a portobello sandwich and french toast for our table. The menu allows selecting from long lists of cheeses vegetables and proteins for the omelette and the type of bread for toast and has a long list of possible substitutes for the home fries. We left happy & stuffed with great food

I hate to write this.
I loved this particular spot for years. Last time I went is about 2-3 years ago and at the time I was very impressed by the Salmon platter with bagel, green side salad. Had it 5 or so times back then, it was always fantastic.
Come back now and the platter was nothing but disappointment. The lox was what I'd expect of a $6 grocery store packaged fish. The bagel was dry.
The side salad was still good but that couldn't make up for the fish. I get salmon a lot and this was one of the few times my wife commented that it smells across the table. It was low-grade. I am not saying it was expired or mishandled, it just tasted like very cheap salmon from the supermarket.
My wife had a Ruben with roast beef, it was edible but not good. The sauerkraut was out of a bag, you could tell nothing was done to it. The bread was soft, not what one expects from a reuben.
All the food was like "we have X at home" where home is near a gas station where you get your food stuff and try to make the best of it.
Won't be back. The parking lot should have put us on notice, it used to be packed to the brim and the restaurant would have 20+min waiting times. Today there were ample spots and we got a table right away.

It has a very clean and modern interior. Our booth seating was tight, but it may have been the area we were seated. Service was amazing and fast. Easy to customize your order

Great service! Worth waiting to be seated. Food is made to order, and the cooks are on point! Do not like that everything is a la carte add ons, but the food is excellent. We had the 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, herbs, and cheese. Two eggs overeasy, bacon, home fries, and tea.

I'm not impressed at all. Food was absolutely horrible. Bread hard as a rock, and brought every customer but me, some jelly. French toast was the cheap frozen kind everyone is serving, and it sucks. They added some weird butter and cinnamon to charge you $9.00. The omelet was $8.75 for just eggs. You can add items for around $2.25+.Really easy to turn it into a $30 omelet and get three bites of home fries.
