we were looking for a venue for a rehearsal dinner, and stumbled upon this gem! The staff is friendly & helpful, the food & spirits were great both in quality & price, and the casual atmosphere only added to the pleasurable experience! will definitely be returning!!

Recently moved back to the area from Massachusetts, super excited to try this place. Showed up at 4:45 on a Sunday, closed with no explanation online or anywhere, google even said “busier than expected”. Super disappointed, went to Appalachian brewing company instead and had a great time. 💁🏻♀️

First time visiting with a friend. Enjoyed mead, a cocktail, appetizer and sandwiches. All was exceptional! Speedy service and bartender was helpful with our questions. Brussel sprouts were crispy on the outside with inside still green and tender. No “burnt” taste and maple glaze was flavorful. Burger was great with the toasted brioche bun and the side of fresh cut fries were thicker cut than most but cooked perfectly - crispy outside without being still raw inside. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was able to be ordered as “grilled”. Not overly saucy but not dry either Will be back to try other items!

Story time. 2020 we were looking for a place we could sit outside to eat after going to the ren faire, you know...covid. We find this place Artifice. 4 years later and we have gone there every ren faire trip since, some years twice. The mead is great, food even better. It's crazy how fast they got our food out again tonight. Seriously I can not recommend this enough. Also eat the mac bowl with chicken.

Had a couple beers and mead. Meads were very good, beers were good. Food was absolutely delicious (there's a but). Had the nachos, chicken con-tenders, and smash burger. I can not stress how delicious the food was. BUT, prices are a bit steep. Three small chicken tenders were $15.50. They were very tender and juicy as advertised but that was a bit salty for what you get.
