I had an amazing experience at this diner! The food was delicious, and the service was top notch. Huge shoutout to the server with two braids she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and such a great conversationalist. She really made our visit memorable. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

This was my first time visiting the diner with my friend 6/21/2025 around 5:30 in the afternoon. Although the food was great, and the older lady who served us our meals was amazing, we only had one issue upon arrival after a kind young gentleman greeted us and was about to seat us on the right side of the diner as soon as you walk in, there was a girl sitting at a table with 2 braids looks tells him “not over here, that side” all rude like she didn’t wanna do her job to wait on us, whether she assumed we were young girls (we’re 25&26) and thought she “wouldn’t get tipped well” or what her deal was, because the next people to walk through was a family and she had no problem with taking them on her side. I just think maybe she could have been less rude and just let the gentleman do his job as well and seat the customers where he sees fit. And because the older lady was such a seeetheart she definitely got a good tip like she deserved, definitely need to add more employees like her

Stopped by the City Stat Diner for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, especially the french toast, pancakes, and bacon. The service was friendly and attentive, even though it was busy. The atmosphere was cozy and classic, exactly what you'd expect from a diner. Definitely recommend it for a great meal at a reasonable price!!!
The food was great nice size portion!The waitress we had was not so good she was to go get steak knife and she never did had to use the regular knife to cut pork chops with never asked if we needed anything else and oh when we were almost done she did ask but it was to late

Our church gang eats breakfast here almost every Sun We usually have Candy for our waitress and she is fantastic. Food is great and this restaurant gives 10 percent to our church. yes! Win win on all counts
