KURINJI Indian Cuisine

I'm only doing 4 cause of 1 minor thing I'll get to later. The food was absolutely fantastic and service was prompt and in a reasonable time. The drinks were served room temp on a hot day, or kept in a fridge turned waaaaaay down. Not a deal breaker for me but is worth mentioning. My biggest gripe... I asked for Vindaloo HOT, with no spice of any kind save for the chopped jalapeño on top. Now I'd been craving hot Vindaloo for a few weeks now and I put Da Bomb on everything. I'm a legit hothead. I understand the concerns with offering hot food to tame newbies which there is ALOT of at these establishments. I'll be going back for sure, but I'll bring last dab with me just in case. Enjoy cause it's great basically and I'm just tift.

Need to work on smiling and customer service.

We tried the Medhu Vada and the biryani. Both were very well made and the portion on the biryani is excellent!

Walking into Kurunji felt like being transported straight to the heart of South India. Each dish reflected genuine authenticity—from the crisp, golden dosas to the flavorful sambar and vibrant chutneys served alongside. The idlis were light and airy, melting effortlessly in the mouth, while the vadas struck the perfect balance between a crunchy exterior and soft center. It's evident that every dish is crafted with care and deep-rooted tradition. This place offers a truly memorable and authentic South Indian dining experience that I wholeheartedly recommend.

Kurinji became my go to for Indian cuisine. I love their Kadhai chicken, biryani, dosa and fish starters.
I visit almost every month, have been there 3 times last month with family of 15.
Please be consistent with the taste and service as most restaurants fail there as per my past experiences.

The food was excellent we ordered butter chicken which came with rice, samosas, paneer & garlic naan. It was all perfect and the service was great! The place was packed and the inside was nice and cozy. So happy to have found this spot!

I recently visited Kurinji Dosa, expecting a great experience based on what I’d heard, but it turned out to be incredibly disappointing. I ordered a dosa, hoping for something delicious and well-prepared, but what I received was a disaster in multiple stages.

The first dosa arrived undercooked—half raw and barely edible. I asked them to correct it, but when the second dosa came, it was completely different from what I ordered, missing key ingredients and flavors. I gave them yet another chance, hoping they’d get it right, but the third dosa they brought was again incorrect, incomplete, and poorly made.

By the fourth attempt, they brought me a cold dosa that seemed hastily put together and lacked any of the quality or care I expected. Rather than making a fresh dosa to fix the problem, they kept serving me the same underwhelming dish, recycled in a way that felt careless and unprofessional. It felt like they weren’t even trying and, honestly, like they were doing it intentionally at that point.

The whole experience was extremely disappointing. I went in with high hopes, but the service was frustrating, and the food quality was far below even basic standards. I wouldn’t recommend Kurinji Dosa if you’re looking for a place that cares about its customers or quality food.

Just terrible service and food quality. They took back and brought either wrong or cold Dosa five times in a row!! Five times!! This was after patiently waiting 45 mins.

Quickly has become our go to restaurant. Its a little farther from where I stay, but its worth the drive. Would highly recommend to dine in. Everything on the menu is good. Dont miss the Medu vada and Rava dosa though. The Vijaywada biryani is great.
