We were seated in the enclosed patio and it was very loud. Would be really difficult if you wanted to have good conversations or if you struggled to hear with background noise. We asked for a kid's menu for our young teen and were told he was too old (and was met with an attitude by the server). When I said that he was a picky eater and that he would not enjoy anything on the menu we were told that they could probably do something, but still never brought us the kids menu....
It was wonderful to reconnect with an old friend at this restaurant. The salads we ordered were fresh and delicious, and we enjoyed a couple of drinks with our meal. The service was attentive and efficient, making for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. We'd happily return for good food and service.
Breakneck Tavern is excellent! Locally owned and supporters of local farms and breweries, it's wonderful to see this restaurant's success. Favorites of ours are the filet, roast chicken, charred Brussel sprouts, salmon, hummus, and the seasonal pumpkin soup. Always busy, and rightfully so, reservations are recommended
