Top notch to the sever and the cook. It was pretty busy for a Friday night. The server was on top of it and the food was amazing the steak was perfect for me and my wife. That was a true test due to how busy it was. So flowers to the cook and server.

My steak was overcooked. Chopped salad was good. Crab cakes listed as colossal crab had a lot of filler with unassuming lumps of crab meat. Overall, great service

Overall a great experience. I got the American wagyu steak and it was kind of hard to cut but it tasted great. These places are great for special occasions as the service is impeccable.

I have read some of the inconsistent reviews, and let me say, it seems they have definitely worked out the kinks. Service was friendly. We started with the French onion soup and smoked chicken dip. Both were great. We had truffle fries, mushroom medley, filet, and Sakura Wagyu. The mushroom medley was excellent and the Wagyu was one of the more flavorful steaks I've ever had. Finished with the cobbler and mousse, both were good. I'd definitely recommend Speers as opposed to driving to the city.

We enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration for my wife's special milestone birthday. The table is decorated perfectly when we arrived, and service from beginning to end was excellent! My wife enjoyed her steak, tartare appetizer, and I had oysters. Her Seabass was cooked perfectly and the shrimp risotto that it was placed on top of was delicious. My cowboy ribeye steak was cooked perfectly to the right temperature, and well seasoned, and I enjoyed every bite. Lastly, the sides of asparagus, mushrooms, and scalloped potatoes enhanced the entire meal.  we really enjoy going to Speer's Steakhouse for special events, such as this occasion, and will continue to do so. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a wonderful meal with impeccable service, then make plans to enjoy this restaurant soon.

First time dining here and tbh I'm somewhat surprised by the low-ish rating because our experience was terrific. Our waitress Genevieve was delightful and very professional. The steaks were perfectly cooked and we thoroughly enjoyed the sides (loaded whipped potatoes plus broccolini) Very nice list of wines available by the glass. We can't speak to dessert, since we had no room but will definitely be back.

Food was really good, my wife has a gluten and dairy allergy. The chef did a good job preparing her dish appropriately but there was no starch option for her to eat. Disappointing that they don't have options for her.

We loved it! Went for a special occasion, my niece's 30th birthday. The service, food, and ambience were excellent. The menu is very broad. There were 10 of us, so we had a wide range of orders: crab cakes, salmon, chicken, steaks, linguine with shrimp. There was something for everyone. I noticed that wine/alcoholic drinks, salads, and side dishes were very reasonably priced vs. similar restaurants..with no difference in taste/quality. We went an hour early and had drinks in the bar. It was very nice! I highly recommend Speer's...and I already have another reservation!
