We had a great first meal at Springfield Grille and can't wait to return!
We're longtime visitors to Log Cabin Inn and have been to Rachel's Roadhouse, but never made the trip to Springfield.
The ambiance for dinner was really nice, and the restaurant feels cozy.
We enjoyed the ahi tuna and zucchini fries as appetizers, the chicken noodle soup which was hearty, and the steak and crabcake, and the sea bass for dinner - all of which were excellent. For dessert, the chocolate peanut butter cake and cheesecake with raspberry sauce were divine!
Loved that they even have a few mocktails on their menu in addition to their alcoholic beverage selection.
Service was fast, all of our courses came out perfectly times and we really enjoyed our meal.

This used to be one of my favorite places. Always got the steak and cake but not anymore. They used to give you salad/soup and a big helping of a side and they had an awesome remoulade for the crab cake. Now you get a decent sirloin steak, dry crab cake with no sauce and one small side. Also no more turtle soup which was a specialty of theirs. Last visit the bartender seemed irritated we were there and was very standoffish. Ordered the strip steak and got a SALTY steak and tiny portion of smashed red skins. I was still hungry when I left. This used to be a reasonably priced upscale restaurant but the value is gone with the raised prices and lack of food/service. We’ve black listed this place.

Good food, but the restaurant is a bit dindgy. Old decor, tables that creek, and at times a smell like an old age home. The food is really good, a bit pricey. The service is good, but always check your bill. Twice I had the waitress bring me another table's bill.
Vegetarian options: Yes they have vegetarian stuff
Parking: If you're there in a Friday or Saturday, parking will be tight.

I attended a party & we were in the back room, which I didn't realize existed! It was very private & the perfect setting for a small to medium sized group. The server asked if I wanted an alcoholic beverage implying they were included, then after I was served asked if I wanted to start a tab. This was very disappointing & happened to other guests across the room. We were given soup that was pretty spicy & the guest of honor was not able to enjoy it. I also passed on mine as well. We had cupcakes but no silverware was provided and they were messy so we asked for boxes & took them home. Our server was nowhere to be seen to ask for forks & when she returned we were preparing to leave. The food quality is always superior & everyone was very pleased with the selections. I had a Chicken Salad & even though it was mid afternoon, it was the size of a dinner salad. This is a great place for dinner or lunch for a small group!

I had a wonderful time tonight during my maiden visit to Springfield. I was surprised how busy it was for a Monday night. Always a good sign!
Our server (I think her name was Cassie??) was as warm and friendly as could be: think a mix-up between Mr Rogers & Tom Hanks with the sass and spunk of a Dolly Parton.
Drinks were super yummy (we loved the apple, lemon drip, and pumpkin martinis), and the steaks and crab cakes hit the spot. Kudos to the dessert as well. Monday Funday, indeed.

Love this restaurant. They really do an amazing job with the food and the service staff is top notch. Last time we went here was for our 18th Anniversary and the server knew without us even saying anything and not wearing our wedding bands. She gave us complementary champagne for our occasion and we ate some amazing filet mignon with Ahi tuna appetizer.

Our first time, noon on a Thursday. We were immediately seated. We ordered the salted watermelon martini and the mango martini. Both were good. Then we ordered the Club sandwich with fries and the lobster Cobb salad with added steak. The chicken in the club sandwich was both tough and under seasoned. The fries were excellent. The Cobb salad came with a butter lemon dressing that was just ok. The steak was also under seasoned. The best part of our lunch was the price and the service. We may try again in the future. From what we tried I can only recommend the fries.
