Still looking for a good tofu dish. This tofu teriyaki dish was an insane rip off at 17.96 I had to write a review. There’s like 50 cents of tofu in here and about 50 cents of zucchini with generic teriyaki sauce. The rice portion it came with was even worse! Like barely a cup. I would never order this again. Huge disappointment not even enough to share but who wants that much zucchini?? No one.
The place is quirky with the menu being not flexible at all and I was gently reprimanded for ordering from the online lunch menu.
The other stuff we ordered was satisfactory so maybe this is a case of knowing what to order.
It's hard to find sushi close by in this area, and this place is an excellent establishment for it. The indoor seating area isn't large, but I haven't seen this place packed when I've passed by, so you'll likely find a seat if it's not a busy dinner time. They do excellent take out from here as well. The staff is nice, and the seating itself is a-ok. If you're in the area and are craving sushi or a nice udon bowl, I recommend this place.
Hands down the best sushi in the area
i go inside to place an order to go. i’m waiting for almost 10 min then he finally came out front and asked what i would like. i told him what i wanted then said “we’re on break” so i asked “so…i can’t order anything?” he said no. so why come out, ask me what i want, then say you on break. i usually come here all
the time but that set me off a little
The food was good and and the service was good to

I stopped by today at 2:45. I was walking by a few weeks ago and asked if the lunch special was available. They said not after 3. So I made sure I got in before then. When I walked in I asked about the lunch special and they told me it ended at 2:30. I told them it didn't say that on the lunch menu in the window but they told me it was on the paper menu, which they handed me. Mind you, the place was empty. I left seeing that they weren't gonna offer it. On the way to the car I noticed it didn't say 2:30 on the paper menu either. I went back in and mentioned that they told me it was a mistake. So I said that now that I'm aware it's 2:30, could they may an "exception" and give me the special. They would not. I don't understand how this makes business sense. I'm relatively new to the area and they would have gained a customer. I'm also a big guy and probably would have ordered a side and a drink. But they refused. Again, it didn't say 2:30 anywhere and most lunch specials run till 3. I don't understand this.
The sushi is great, i pick some up every occasion i get.

Yesterday was my daughter birthday, since we were in the area shopping. She decided she wanted sushi. We stop in, wasn't sure of this place because there were no one in, so I gave it a try. Once we walk in, we weren't greeted ( 1st red flag ). We stated we wanted to eat-in. The waiter immediately profile us, clearly he didn't want to serve us but had no choice since it's his job. The waiter didn't introduce himself or greet us with politeness ( 2nd red flag). He didn't ask us if we wanted something to drink ( 3rd red flag ). He took our appetizer order first, and wouldn't look directly at us. You can see the frustration in his face. In the middle of taking our appetizer order, he stops, walks away to attend a white family of three that just enter to give them menus. Now we are pissed, but we stayed to give this place a chance being is my daughter's birthday. He drops off the appetizers, still didn't ask if we wanted something to drink. We had to tell him our drinks, and as we were giving our order he assume we weren't ready and turn around went to the other family to take thier order. No communication or not even a "excuse me for a min."He wasn't busy at all. My husband waited as the other family order, he stood up and ask if it was a problem. He said no, and by this time we asked for the check. I spoke to him in spanish as he was also from spanish orgin. I told him he needs to learn common courtesy how to serve. I explain to him that I am a bartender I would never treat anyone like that. I stated we planned to order a lot and that he forfeit a hefty tip if he hadn't done what he did. My daughter didn't deserve that. He thought by catering to the other white family they going to tip and not us. He was greatly mistaken. I'm so happy all they got was $14.73. We will never come here again. I advise anyone not to waste your time here if you are of color. It's ashame our own people does this!!!

The food was disgusting sushi was not fresh and the teriyaki chicken smelled like metal. 35$ right in the trash after 1 bite. I dont normally leave such bad reviews but this was expensive and the smell of bad food is unacceptable. I wouldn't try this again for free. In hoping it was just a fluke.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Yuki, a sushi establishment that truly surpassed my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful dining experience. I tried the California Roll, Spicy Tuna Hand Roll, Spider Roll, and Volcano Roll, all of which were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The quality of the food was amazing, with each piece of sushi reflecting the care and attention put into their craft. The service was exemplary, with very nice and friendly staff who were attentive and knowledgeable. Yuki boasts a vibrant and inviting ambiance that makes it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a special occasion. The standout moment of my visit was undoubtedly the sushi itself, with its fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Yuki to anyone who appreciates top-notch sushi. The combination of amazing food, friendly service, and good vibes makes it a must-visit destination for sushi lovers. Yuki has earned its place as one of my favorite sushi spots, and I look forward to my next visit to explore more of their delicious offerings.
