We always go here when we are in the area. However, tonight has changed that completely. We always get a cheese steak hoagies when we go and usually they're phenomenal but tonight... they're disgusting. I couldn't eat more than one bite. There's 10lbs of garlic and butter on the bread, we didn't ask for that. The spices they used on the meat itself were so disgusting and burned my mouth when I bit it. There was some kind of flavor but it wasn't steak or cheese. It kind of tasted like I was sucking on an old spice rack.

Steve And Irene's Hoagies are the best when you walk in there you are treated like they knew you forever. the owner is very friendly and takes time out and talks to you.

My nephew worked there and has done a great job from what the manager katie says but today he made 2 mistakes and instead of the other manager Carey pulling him aside he decided to embarrass him in front of all the other employees and customers!!!! He has been there since may was supposed to get a raise the past 2 weeks and hasnt got it so today after he was embarrassed by the manager Carey he walked out! Shame on u Carey!!!!!!!!

I had the steak-um salad. It consisted mainly of lettuce, I believe two cherry tomatoes, a slice of cucumber a shaving of Italian onion and a few olives. The (steak) was the steak-um brand for sure not a real steak even if sliced thin adorned this OVERPRICED SALAD!!! Steve & Irene's NEVER fails to disappoint!!! How in Heavens name can a simple salad be ruined? A $14-15 salad I might add! AND barely any veggies! Again DISAPOINTED!!! I went against my better judgment and ordered thinking just thinking maybe this meal would be worthwhile! NOT!
Love their hoagies always good place to get any type of hoagie you want and the prices are decent which is a plus

Amazing hoagies and heros! Fantastic selection from an otherwise small venue! Dine in option always available. Friendly, and curtious staff on hand.I have two "cons" about the place. These reasons are why I didn't give this place a 5 star rating. One, there is no restroom available for use, and two, they hand the food over the counter to you. You have to grab a bottle of a beverage of your choosing out of a cooler, and when you go to pay for the food, they stand there looking at you while you struggle with the idea of tipping these people for ZERO service! I am tired of these gadgets automatically asking if you want to tip. These people provide the same level of service you get at McDonald's. STOP THIS INSANITY!

Got a cheese steak today and there was an embarrassingly small amount of meat and cheese on it. The last inch on each side of the bun was totally bare, and you could see the bread through the meat in the rest. That's how little ingredients were on it. Plus, the meat was burnt and dried out. This place is no longer worthy of our business. And the 12 inch sub was $12 and change. There was probably about $2 worth of food there. Don't be fooled by all their friends that leave 5 star reviews. Try it and see, they have really gone downhill...

April 2024- Ordered a steak and cheese with onions and this is what I got. See the pic. It was a pretty pathetic excuse for a steak and cheese. Barely any steak or cheese, plenty of onions though ? I realize the current national leadership has caused incredibly inflation, but I'd rather pay an extra buck than get a sandwich like this... All this will do is make me associate Steve and Irene's with really bad food. Really has gone downhill. Get your steak and cheese somewhere else until they start doing better... See the pic of my empty sandwich and judge for yourself. Total came to about $13.
