The service and food was excellent. We were in town from Buffalo for a tournament and wanted a place to stop and watch the Bills game. This place did not disappoint! Great wings and the server was as friendly as can be. Beer selection was abundant and the outdoor patio was incredibly nice.

I went to the tavern was given draft beer in a plastic cup. The Red head bar tender never waited on us. She a poor example of an employee. I will not go when she is working. This is the type of employees that chase customers away. I wish management would correct this employee.

Had pizza, it is the best I have ever had. Fresh with lots of toppings. Great selection of beers on tap. Will be back again.
1st time there and my buddy got 50 wings for our table, 5 different flavors too. I wanted the freak fries but they were out of the sauce unfortunately so instead I got the loaded tater tots appetizer but god dam it was a massive serving. Not a complaint I just wasn't expecting it. Would definitely go again.

I haven't had a single item off the menu that wasn't delicious! Staff is always nice and makes sure they check in with you and keep your drinks full. Very friendly atmosphere no matter what area you sit in.
Parking: Parking was easy to get in and out of and plenty of spaces considering how many tables there are.
Kid-friendliness: So many kid friendly options and all the staff address your child to ask what they want. No talking down to them but instead treating them like the soon to be adults they are. It was a refreshing change.

We have driven by the McKean Tavern many times on the way to visit family and never stopped in. Like they say, you can't always judge a book by its cover. From the street it appears to be a run of the mill tavern, but once inside and you work your way to the back, this is a great find! The covered patio is warm and inviting. A lot more seating than expected, live music (when we were there) and great food!
Our large group ordered a variety of items and the pizza (Buffalo Chicken) was a hit. The sandwiches and fries were tasty and the drinks nice and cold.
Our server seemed a little frazzled probably due to the workload. The request for a martini was met with a strange look but accommodated. The request for an Old Fashion later on was that she had no idea what it was and further that we pushed our luck asking for a martini lol.
We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. Something to look forward to especially when the patio is open!
I had the showcase burger. It was excellent! It had really nice flavor. I got mine with raw onions instead of grilled and they added the perfect amount. I also got the zucchini fries. Truly the best I have had. Servers were efficient without being bothersome. They have indoor and outdoor seating. With outdoor, you have your choice of a covered patio, or out in the sunshine. I wish it hadn't been so hot the day we were there, I would have loved to sit outside. My husband loves this place so I am sure we will be back soon.
