The food was good and the service was friendly. It's BYOB if you want to have a drink with your meal. It is a bit pricey for the area.

AmaIng experience. The service was great. The chef was amazing too, he came out a few times and spoke with guests. I highly recommend the chicken parm and Italian wedding soup. The soup blew me away.

1905 Eatery was a lovely experience all around. The food was fantastic, serving sizes were huge, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is owned by an older Italian gentleman, and he does all the cooking. He came out and talked to us and was so sweet. We will definitely be back.

A very unassuming, amazing restaurant that has delicious rustic Italian cuisine that is rare to find. The portions are more than generous and pricing is very fair - this place will not disappoint. Delicioso! Their location is moving in a few months, and you may need to check B4 going. BYOB with no corkage fee! Service very attentive!

My husband and I went there with three friends, after half an hour we got water and menus, and that was it.

There was only one other table seated when we got there and a couple of two had come in after us. The couple of two ended up with soup, bread, and drinks while we were still waiting for our order to be taken...

My wife and I visited while on our way to a show in the city. The food was awesome, and our server was wonderful. We would definitely return.

Salad, bread and veal parm were good. I Ordered carbonara with peas & bacon. I was told they did not have peas & ordered any way, since most carbonara does not have peas. Was very disappointed when it was thin sliced deli ham, not bacon or pancetta. I also question the table/ bread oil looked more like corn oil than olive oil.

Our son and his now-wife had their rehearsal dinner at 1995 Eatery a couple of weekends ago. We are from near Boston Massachusetts so we can easily get excellent Italian cuisine, yet the food at 1905 compared very favorably. We especially loved the marinara sauce… and we are picky about sauce! We also had several in our party who eat gluten free, which was not problem at all as there was GF pasta and stuffed peppers among other offerings. The service was fantastic… they worked extremely well and cheerfully under the pressure of a large crowd of 50-something people. It was a truly memorable evening, thank you 1905 Eatery!

Don't shy away from this place because of the shady neighborhood. This is my new absolute favorite Italian restaurant. Authentic, made from scratch hearty Italian dishes, served up right! No cork fees either.

Well worth the detour to come here. Delicious food: chicken Marsala. Chicken Parmesano. And a slice of Italian almond cake. Best Italian food I've had in a long time.

This was quite a delicious discovery. We happened to be seeing a film about two blocks away and we're looking for something to eat. Unassuming place as you walk in as we had no idea what kind of food they served. The young man working was quite courteous and provided wonderful service. Loved EVERYTHING about this place. From Frank Sinatra and the original tin ceilings, we were so impressed by the atmosphere and food. The FOOD ! I ordered the Pasta with Olive Oil and Garlic with Anchovies and my boyfriend had the Lasagna Rolls. It was incredibly fresh and authentic. Quite amazing portions as we were able to take half of our dinners home.
Treat yourself to some SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS and AUTHENTIC Italian food here. You won't regret it!!
